Few have done more to bring Reggaeton to mass audiences than Puerto Rico's Don Omar. Since his mega hit "Reggaeton Latino" off of his landmark debut The Last Don became not just his genre's most recognizable anthem but also a message of uplift few could ignore, the man known to many as El Rey has taught ticket holders that this music has roots in the church as well as the dancehall.
Born William Omar Landron in Carolina, P. R., Don Omar did indeed hone his passionate brand of performance as a youth in the Protestant church. It is one of the many qualities distinguishing this Latin-Urban pioneer both as recording artist and touring act. It also helps explain his massive crossover appeal: Don Omar's second record, King of Kings, debuted at No. 1 on Latin and Rap album charts and No. 7 on the Billboard 200, the highest chart ranking in reggaeton history. His follow-up, iDon, showed that Don Omar has just as much to say in the electro-dance sphere, while 2012's Don Omar Presents: Meet the Orphans proved the King magnanimous enough to share the stage with up-and-comers, including the Portuguese/French singer Lucenzo, with which he shared the summer hit "Danza Kuduro." While he may be one of the premiere artists in his genre, concert goers can always expect Don Omar to wield a musical palette of many colors, some soulful and soaring, others just plain fun.

He was there for only 20 minutes. I will never go back to any of his freaking concerts!!!!!
The concert was very good!!! only one performer didnt show up Cris y angel and it sucks cause they didnt even tell us anything about that. Fanny lu's performance was as well as flex's, but when da DON, Don Omar came out, that was it!!!! he performed his hits, only bad thing is he only performed like 6 songs, he shouldve done like 2 or 3 more, he left us wanting more. The only thing That I didnt like and wish univision radio or whoever is taking part of organizing this event would do is hire security to handle the crowd going in once the doors open. since its a general admission concert theres no assigned seats, its first come first served basis, and its wrong that people like me, got there super early and these crazy people strated running and cutting in line, some people got hurt, man people dont got manners at all!!! thats why they be talking bad about us, come on people act civilized. and whats wrong is i complianed to a usher there and shes like 'im not responsible for crowd control' please la kalle do something next year, cause you guys getting a bad rep on this, thats why im only giving you 3 stars. Hope next year theres some improvements.
Great Spnaish Pop Festival! good mixed crowd attended.
A lot of the artist who perform was not fun watching. A lot of the people in the crowed was standing around waiting for music to dance too. The only artist was Don Omar were people was dancing, and looked like they were having a good time. I hope next year they bring more artisit so people can dance too because as soon as Don Omar left a lot of people left also.
We went to see DJ Flex and Don Omar. DJ Flex was INCREDIBLE! Don Omar was a total disappointment! He barely sang - all of the singing was done by his female back-up singer. Fanny Lu and her band were also great.
I loved how there were so many artists and the atmosphere was just so fun to be at. Everyone was dancing and having a good time.
Don Omar was great he did his show as expected. I expected more from the concert maybe i was the one with the problem. Over all it was good
The event was very disorganized! There were dull moments in between acts and having stupid girls and guys talk on stage about the performers coming up was unnecessary. Angel and Khris did not show up, so they ended showing the same performers twice (boring), then we had to wait about 30 minutes just listening to music while Don Omar go there... The staff in charge of the event was rude and unhelpful. People were getting stuck within the crowd and the staff refused to help them get out of the crowd by clearing the area for them to leave.. too many bad things to mention.. will never go again!
it was my first time going to a concert and it was the best..!!!!
It was great concert , Gloria Trevi was the best in my opinion, she was the last to show up but it was worthy!
I had a wounderful time watching these preformers do thier thang. The typical 5-6 songs from each preformer was in line. My only complaint is between preformers, there was too much time(u tried covering up with danncers) and I did take note that by the time Gloria preformed, a good percentage of people took off. Besides that, good service and no fights.
overall I think this event was average. The artist performed for a very short time. Alot of time was wasted, their was too much killing time. Don Omar thought he was too good, moved too much and did not allow much time so we could take pictures. gloria trevi and fanny lu took the show they were great.
IT WAS A GOOD CONCERT!!!! LOVE DON OMAR!!!!!! I LIKED THIS YEARS CONCERT A WAS A MIX OF LATIN ROCK AND REGGAETON!!!!!
Awesome concert!!!Don Omar, Flex, and Gloria Trevi were the best!!!!
The concert was tight Dj Flex, Fanny Lu, Gloria Trevi and the best of all DON OMAR man i cant wait to see him again..If he comes back im there for sure...
I realle enjoy the show. I did dance a lot and the singers were just great.
THE LINE TO ENTER WAS HUGE, YET WHEN THEY OPENED THE DOORS THERE WAS NO MORE LINE BECAUSE EVERYONE GOT OUT OF CONTROL. LOVED THAT IT TOOK PLACE IN THE SJSU EVENT CENTER BECAUSE OF THE SEATING AND DANCE FLOOR. YET THE ARTISTS ONLY SANG LIKE 4 TO 6 SONGS MAX. DON OMAR LEFT WITHOUT EVEN SAYING GOODBYE AND ANGEL Y KRIS NEVER SHOWED UP. OVERALL THE EVENT WAS NOT WHAT I HAD EXPECTED BUT LOVED DON OMAR!!! HE IS THE BEST!!!!!!!
