  • VERY FUNNY

    by Acealive1 on 7/15/12Funny Bone - Toledo/PerrysburgRating: 5 out of 5

Don "DC" Curry is the funniest man alive, go see him at all costs, you wil not be disappointed. his openers were Darrell Banks and BT Kingsley and they were also very funny. i laughed til i cried, i was crying not even 5 minutes into curry's set. he sounded a little under the weather, but who can blame him? an entire weekend stand in one place will get to anyone, it didnt take away from his show at all. this was a great birthday present!!

  • Terrible promotions

by OhioGhost on 1/9/12Aladdin Shrine Center - ColumbusRating: 4 out of 5

Performances were good and probably would of been even better if they had a crowd to perform too. Angela Winbush is the truth. Probably 100 people attended the show at the Aladdin Shrine Center, which can hold alot of people. Talked to a friend at a local radio station and he had only heard about the show the day before. Come on man! How is Columbus going to represent if they don't know whats going on. Should of had it at the Funny Bone.

  • Don DC Curry and Earthquake were great!

by Anonymous on 8/15/11Macon City Auditorium - MaconRating: 3 out of 5

DC Curry and Earthquake were great as usual. But they replaced Gary Owens/Lavell Crawford with Brandon T Jackson...BIG MISTAKE. HE WAS TERRIBLE AND WAS BOOED OFF STAGE Also, the seating was bad...folding chairs

  • Not Happy With What I Got

    by newslady10 on 8/15/11Macon City Auditorium - MaconRating: 3 out of 5

The fact that Lavell Crawford didn't show up was the first let down. The second let down was the bands playing in between acts. I came to see comedians, not listen to local bands. The venue wasn't impressive and parking was a nightmare. No parking garage was open or available. Traveled from another city to Macon to see this show, should have stayed at home.

  • Gary Owen was not there!

by juschillin on 8/15/11Macon City Auditorium - MaconRating: 4 out of 5

When I received a call that Lavell Crawford was being replaced by DC Curry, I was glad because I did not want to see him anyway. I bought the ticket for Earthquake and DC Curry was a plus! The host, JJ was very funny too. Brandon T. Jackson was awful, but he knew it and walked off the stage. Dangerzone, really?

  • DC curry

    by jgarner484 on 8/15/11Macon City Auditorium - MaconRating: 3 out of 5

first off, it was very disappointing that they replaced two of the original comedians, although DC curry and Earthquake were funny. We were expecting to see Gary and Levell but that got changed at the last minute, like the day of the show. The guy (the sidekick to Bow Wow in Lottery ticket) they had instead of gary was horrible. It was as if he had never done comedy before, people in the audience started to boo and he cut his routine short..thank god. All in all, a decent show. On a side note, the show was really long it started at 8:30 and left around midnight. they had some good bands, but they played too many songs, you could tell people were getting restless
