As the country music superstar behind an estimated 100 million album sales, a successful film career, and her very own theme park Dollywood, Dolly Parton is one of American music’s most enduring icons. On tour in 2013 Parton continued to captivate fans with her engaging live concerts, treating ticket buyers to career-spanning sets of her greatest hits peppered with compelling personal stories while building anticipation for the release of her 42nd studio album in 2014. Parton released her 41st studio album Better Day in 2011, a country-dance hybrid that topped charts around the world and spawned the hit single “Together You and I”. After a musical childhood in the Great Smoky Mountains, Parton headed for Nashville the day after her high school graduation, eventually achieving mainstream success in the early ‘70s with a string of No. 1 hits including “Jolene” and “I Will Always Love You”. It’s hard to overstate the scope of Parton’s accomplishments since then – from 25 No. 1 singles to the blockbuster success of films like 9 to 5 and Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, she 's become a beloved household name and recipient of numerous awards, including the prestigious Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
1st time in my life of having floor seats... 8th row form stage... BEAUTIFUL AS EXPECTED... loved her concept of the show... EXCELLENT... next on bucket list, is going to Dollywood & all of Tennessee in may for mother/daughter vacation... CANT WAIT!!!
Dolly Parton was great. She sang and talked for more than two hours. She was hilarious and sang most of the hits. The WinStar venue though was not great. The majority of the chairs in front are all on one level. The chairs are tiny conference chairs that are bolted together. You feel like you are sitting on top of the person next to you. There is no arm room. They had two big screens up by the stage; however, they did not have them on during the concert.
Wonderful performance. Dolly entertained for two and half hours with no opening act and minimal break. Very entertaining with stories about the songs she was singing.
This was my first Dolly concert. It won't be my last. She was amazing. I had no idea she played so many different instruments. Her acapella was amazing. So blessed I got to go.
Dolly Parton is such an incredible performer. Even if you are not into country music, she takes you on such a ride that you can't help but feel mesmerized and immersed in her world. She sings so powerfully that you can hear her OVER the sound system. She shares such personal moments, struggles, and memories that you leave with this bond that makes you feel as if you were her best friend through it all. This concert was worth EVERY PENNY.

It was the closest thing to a spiritual experience than any concert I've ever attended. Dolly sang her standards, and some of the new stuff and some of other artist's material, but it was when she just talked to us that made it what it was. She is an exceptional human being, and I am so glad I was able to achieve this bucket list item. My wife and I pledged to each other that anytime Dolly is anywhere near us, we will go to see her. It is worth it.

You can't do any better than Dolly for a concert. Period. She puts on one hell of a show. She tells stories, she is funny, and there isn't an instrument she can not play. And then there is her singing. She sounds as good today as she did 40 years ago. Couldn't have asked for a better show. Dolly performed for about 2.5 hours. There was a 20 (turned out to be more like 30) minute intermission. I would highly recommend seeing a Dolly Parton Show!! Now why 4 stars and not recommended? Well, the venue sucks. I won't go to another concert at the WinStar Event Center for two reasons. 1. Ninety percent of the seats are on the floor, and the seats are nothing more than hooked together convention chairs. Not terribly comfortable. We had seats that were sandwiched in between two extremely large people. These people literally took up one and a half seats each. And the chairs couldn't be moved as they are hooked together. So there was no way to make more room. 2. Because the seats were on the floor, you can't really see the stage, because it's just not high enough. So we only caught glimpses of Dolly. The event center is not a true auditorium or concert hall. The seats should all be on a slant toward the state so EVERYONE can see it, regardless of where they are sitting. If WinStar ever builds a proper venue, I might consider going back for another concert.
The concert was tremendous. She entertained us for nearly three hours. Dolly commanded the stage from the first minute. She was funny, inclusive of the crowd. Her ability to play so many different instruments flawlessly was a surprise for sure. We have yet to receive the VIP items that were part of this package which is the only reason we are rating at 4 stars instead of 5.
Really got our money's worth. Dolly is extremely talented, singing a variety of music, playing numerous instruments, jokes and and story telling. You just can't help but love her.
Dolly has the voice of an angel and is a great comedian as well. She has boundless energy as she performs. I don't think there is an instrument she can't play and play well.
Love Dolly! We will be waiting for her next tour! We encourage anyone to be sure to get to one of her performances.
Loved the stories of her life. She sang songs that went along with her stories and of course, new songs from her Pure and Simple album. The intimate setting with only 3 band members made for a feeling of sitting in her private space and listening to her life. It was similar to talking to a relative. Loved, loved, loved the show.
She is so awesome. Loved everything about her concert. Loved the new and especially her older songs. A beautiful lady. Winstar should have had the BIG screens up so people in the back could see her up close.
I expected the show to be good. It's Dolly, for goodness sake. I was blown away! Dolly is talented, energetic and hilarious. GO SEE HER!
The show was great. Seats not good. Did not have the video screens on to be able to see her better.
Now the BEST concert that I've ever been to and I've seen a lot of stars. The energy and rapport in the room between audience and entertainer was beyond explanation. I'm so glad that I was able to experience her. Can't wait to visit Dollywood at some point and hope that maybe I can catch her again. Such a great show. Wonderful comedian, singer, musician, and friend to the fans.
