About

Doja Cat is a multi-platinum rapper and singer from the suburbs of Los Angeles. Born Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, the hip-hop sensation has carved a lane for herself by deftly melding rap with R&B sampling, melodic pop hooks, and boundary-pushing, cinematic visuals. After being signed by RCA Records at just 17, Doja Cat went viral as an internet meme thanks to her 2018 single “Mooo!” Her breakout Top 10 album Hot Pink was released the following year, earning the rising star her first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Say So” featuring Nicki Minaj. Since then, Doja has dropped two more smash albums — 2021’s Planet Her and 2023’s Scarlet — and scored a litany of genre-busting crossover hits including the GRAMMY-winning “Kiss Me More” featuring SZA, “Need to Know,” “Woman,” “Best Friend” with Saweetie and “Paint the Town Red” — the latter being her first solo No. 1 and biggest single to date.

Tired concert and sound cloud rappers

by Kisslandlady on 10/8/18El Club - Detroit

First of all,HOW MANY OPENING ACTS DO YOU NEED?ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE AN HOUR AND HALF LATE.The 1st guy was the worst.sound like a mixtape made in someone moldy unfinished basement. The 2nd girl couldn't sing. The two girls that came out were hilarious I liked their energy. The 4th guy is irrelevant. Security was ok they could've did something about the homeless dudes harassing people. When Doja finally came out she only did a few lines from each song. She didn't perform them fully. Just moo and Nintendo I think. I feel like she did Detroit dirty. The opening acts lasted longer than her which is awful cause I came here for her not sound cloud dudes.she performed under an hour Concert ended before 12. I just felt like she didnt put a whole lot of love into Detroit which is lame. Detroit loves Doja. Show us a little more love next time. Also you looked really pretty. Also I heard the people who paid for vip didnt get to meet you so I'm glad I didnt pay for it I would have been livid.

    Doja Cat was AMAZING

by MusicLover9494 on 5/27/18Royce Hall - UCLA - Los Angeles

Doja Cat was amaaazing, she was everything I expected AND MORE. Sudan archives was beyond gorgeous and I’m so glad I have a new artist to listen to. But Kilo Kish... the reason why I wanted to come to the concert was because Kilo and Doja are two of my favorite artists. I’ve been listening to Kilo since 2012 so I was super excited to see her. So it was reallyyy disappointing how she didn’t perform any of her old music, like NONE of her old music at all... It was all new music and music she hasn’t released yet! Super disappointing...but Doja and Sudan were amazing so that’s why I gave this concert five stars because Doja CAME THRU!! ❤️
