    THP/DMST

by DrewandNatalieSandM on 2/4/10Troubadour - West Hollywood

The most moving and inspirational night in live performance available. I have not been moved the way I was since I first discovered in the beauty of music and how it can envelop one's soul in the manner displayed this evening. A giant sonic hand reached in and twisted the loose frays of my existence. I awoke with a new sense of hope and the inspiration that embelishes what is important. These retrospectively miniscule moments in our existence are the reason our beings exist. Happiness is love, we were happy, and loved. One and All. This night of pure movement tattooed my existence like a mosquito in prehistoric amber. I was able to fall in love, again. And all I can say is thank You. Onward with a smile my friends.

Do Make Say Think at the Troubadour

by Pimpentel on 2/3/10Troubadour - West Hollywood

I have attended many shows throughout my teenage years and this one ranks up there with some of my best. The venue was the perfect spot to see this show at for it allows you to be up and personal with the musicians. Do Make Say Think performed for almost 3 hours, aside from the double and triple duty they had opening up for themselves under their side projects.

    DMST Live = EPIC!!!

by candidrum on 2/2/10Troubadour - West Hollywood

Wow! Last night's show at the Troubadour (W. Hollywood) was EPIC! My mind was blown by their amazing performance. I loved DMST from their albums, but this was a whole new experience...kudos! kudos! All of the musicians are great, but the 2 drummers were sick!

    Cancel the Happiness Project

by JohnWoodsman on 11/30/09Bowery Ballroom - NEW YORK

Do Make Say Think played twice last night. Once as the Happiness Project and separately as the aforementioned band. The support band was not happening. The Happiness Project seemed too contrived, though the idea was really creative. The sound stuck to the interviews too tightly while they had such momentum with the actual riffs they were pulling from the tempos of the interviewees, they should have just continued on a tangent. And Do Make's performance ranked among the better of those that I've seen this year.

Extremely good show. People were passing out from how good it was.

AMAZING. The most I've felt and danced at a concert.

do make say think was worth the wait

by justanotherguyamongguys on 11/29/09Music Hall of Williamsburg - Brooklyn

I've been waiting to see this band live ever since I got into them in high school five years ago. Their live performance exceeded my expectations, as they delivered one sonic wave after another into my surrendering ears. I spent long portions of the set with my eyes closed, just letting the intricate sounds play around in my head without any distractions. It was really a night to remember, though I would say that they could have axed some time off the two opening acts, since they were just do make say think cover bands, and were comprised of do make say think members for that matter. Still, an unforgettable show!

    an unstoppable force

by barleyc0rn on 11/29/09Music Hall of Williamsburg - Brooklyn

the show was outstanding. years lead off and really shook a lot of people. Ohad showed his guitar chops and when the full band came out everyone was really flowing with their groove. when they finished i looked around and peoples eyes were so wide and their shoulders upright like they had just awoken. everyone knew it was going to be special. when do make came out and started their thing we were primed and ready for serious grooving so mostly everyone had their noodling shoes on. it was a really great evening, and the crowd (i was apprehensive about the williamsburg scene) was primarily concerned with the music as far as i could tell, and that's always refreshing.
