About

Disturbed are a multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated metal band known for their melodic complexity and chart dominance. Singer David Draiman's scorching growl on songs like “Remember,” “Down With the Sickness,” “Stupify” and “Prayer” has helped the band score five consecutive No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200, a feat accomplished by only a handful of acts. Disturbed’s debut album, The Sickness (2000) is the band’s best-selling album. After going on a four-year hiatus beginning in 2011, Disturbed returned in 2015 with another No. 1 album, Immortalized, cementing their status as chart-topping powerhouses. Disturbed released a popular cover of "The Sound of Silence" by Simon & Garfunkel that same year. To date, they’ve stacked 12 No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.

    Disturbed rock the house

    by k66thomas on 7/13/09Roberts Stadium - Evansville

This show was just awesome. High energy, high impact from start to finish. Non stop hard core rock and roll. With the bands in the parkinglot, starting at 2:00, it was an all day music festival.

    A night to remember

This concert was by far the best I have seen so far. I love all the bands and enjoy seeing a show with bands that I enjoy listening to on a daily basis.

    Disturbed and Killswitch were Awesome!!

by jwdavis129 on 7/12/09Mid-America Center - Council Bluffs

Disturbed: I especially loved this show because Disturbed is one of my favorite bands. They rocked the house with tremendous energy. I would have liked to heard droppin plates because that is one of my favorite songs by them, but they pretty much played the rest of my favorites. Killswitch: They also had tremendous energy, and they really put on a good show. I like their music, so it was good to see them live. Chaimira: More energy here as well. I personally didn't like their sound, but I still think they are good at what they do. It seemed more like shouting so loud it was extremely hard (if possible) to make out the lyrics. Lacuna Coil: Not as much energy, but their sound is very good. The transition between the female and the male vocals is very seamless.

Music As A Weapon Tour 2009

    by baird2100 on 7/12/09Roberts Stadium - Evansville

Disturbed has always put on a strong show, though the same as last years Mayhemfest tour set. This was the 3rd time for me seeing them. The other bands Killswitch Engage, though I like their music, was very disappointing live. They just didn't put any effort into their show. Lacuna Coil are just amatuers from Europe. Chimaira on the other hand are very professional and as openers, absolutely had tamed their set down, otherwise they would have blown the rest completely away. I have only been disappointed by Tool, Killswitch Engage, and Shadow's Fall.

Disturbed was by far the best--KSE SUCKED

by cjade on 7/11/09Mid-America Center - Council Bluffs

Lacuna Coil was surprisingly awesome. They really started the show off with a great energy and rocked it right away. Chimera was also decent, although I don't particularly listen to their music, they put on a great show that kept it loud. Killswitch Engage SUCKED!!! They really detracted from the whole show. Their music wasn't all that amazing in comparison to the other bands and there was a guitarist with a cast who talked about the stupidest things during the show that NOBODY cared about and were actually kind of offensive. He just came off looking like a huge tool. Finally, Disturbed was amazing!@!! Great music, and an awesome, unforgettable performance--definitely made me want to go see them again.

    Killswitch Killed It!

by Dobs on 7/11/09Mid-America Center - Council Bluffs

By far one of the best concerts I've been to! I'm a Killswitch Engage fan and have seen them every time they've been through CB/Omaha and it just gets better and better. It was great to see them at a larger venue this time. I was right at the front and it was THUNDEROUS. I'm a member of their Take This Oath club and was able to have a meet and great with them before the show - which only made made this a more memorable show. Don't pass it uo if you EVER get a chance to see them - they do not disappoint!

    Killswitch!!!

by Amandaa on 7/11/09Mid-America Center - Council Bluffs

I did not stay for diturbed, but Chimara and Killswitch were so good. As always Killswitch is worth the money! They are by far just as great live as they are on CD. I saw this tour in Des Moines and it was superb, so I traveled a few hours to see it all over again the next weekend! The venue was nice clean and comfortable considering all the people that were there.

    Disturbed Event!

by ASammons on 7/11/09Mid-America Center - Council Bluffs

This was my first concert with Disturbed being my favorite group. I thought things went well. Some were throwing cups of beer out at the pits and security responded accordingly. I'll remember next time to get closer though because I didn't get the chance to see the groups faces. All in all, my husband and I were very satisfied.

    Disturbed was Great!

by aehptown on 7/11/09Roberts Stadium - Evansville

All in all a great concert. Floor seats got a little crazy at times due to the mosh pits. Disturbed played a great show.

    Disturbed was amazing!

by Serenity on 7/11/09Roberts Stadium - Evansville

I had wanted to see Disturbed for quite some time....so when I heard they were coming to my area...I couldn't wait to get tickets! They were everything I had hoped for....they rocked! The Encore was amazing....and the lead singer performed my favorite song.... "Down with the sickness" right in front of us, almost close enough to touch....it was great!!!
