The show exceeded my expectations. I figured it would be good, it's Disney after all! But I admit I wasn't expecting much from the skating aspect of it, after years of only attending "real" skating events (Olympic and World level competitions and exhibitions). But there were plenty of lifts, jumps, death spirals, etc. And the whole show was like attending a musical play performance, but they did it all on ice!
Show was very entertaining for my 2 and 3 year old. Show is about an hour and 40 mins. Dress somewhat warm. Only complaint is the souvenirs out front. 2 lemonades and 2 cotton candy was $48...otherwise great show and great performers.
Show was amazing. Costumes & characters are amazing.. Sound system should have been more better. We sat on the floor seats,View is not that good. Seats on that first floor have good view.
i liked it alot. its a great place to go to kill time. great for children adults any one !
I always love Disney On Ice, but was surprised to see that the number of skaters appearing has dwindled severely in the last few years. There used to be about 24 girls in the chorus, now there are less than 10. Is it cost cutting? Also, a little too much standing around running through "dialog" and not enough skating! This was a far cry from the Frozen performance we saw last year. Still, always an enjoyable night out.
Very nice show. My 2 yr kid enjoyed enjoyed it a lot, jumped and danced.
My daughter and I have been going to the Disney on Ice Show for years now and always have a wonderful time. We are now 65 and 35 and still enjoying it just as much. The costumes, music, and performances are magical! The only downside was $40 for parking at the Oracle Arena in Oakland. The parking shouldn't cost almost as much as the tickets.
Also enjoyed all of the treats. Snow cone was amazing.
I haven't seen Disney on ice in over 15 years, and was excited to take my little one. For a 2 year going to a show, and knowing her attention span I was a little skeptical. But she was absolutely in love. We're definitely gonna try to make it to every show. Disney never fails to make everyone feel like a kid again.
The show from beginning to end was fantastic, The kids were watching every second from the edge of their seats. It was great to see their smiling faces and to hear the laughter of happiness. Worth seeing and highly recommend.
The show was amazing. I'm definitely bringing my family back here for thr next showcase. My seats were awesome. The only thing about the show that i didnt like was i wish it was a little longer but, overall we enjoyed our time.
The show was great!!! Wouldn't change a thing about it. I just simply don't understand why it would take place as the same day as a raider game!!! REALLY!!!!!!!Knowing that Oakland has a super big fan base we parked soo far away it was ridiculous. Even if you showed up early it was impossible to get good parking due to tail gaters! That will probably be the last time I watch any show at the Oracle. It was such an inconvenience with a children's event. Walking trough hundreds of cars and people that were drinking alcohol and some acting a fool around these children! My child lost her excitement to watch the show because of all it took to get there! It's hear breaking! We're really disappointed.
We had such a great time! The show was fascinating and more than what I had expected. Tangled is by far the best of the shows. Definitely worth watching!
I think this is the best Disney on Ice Show. Can't wait to see Frozen.
Show was great, loved that it played out each princess' story.
Only two problems with the performance. Tiana was a spray painted brown, to somewhat look black and one dancer would not smile for the life of him. I was wishing that his performance was on the other side of the stage. I paid good money to see happy faces. Other than that the show was awesome. Can't wait for Frozen
It was okay. It took time to find the direction to the seats. My daughters love to watch princesses. We brought binoculars and it helps when you are on balcony seats.
I took my three year old granddaughter to see this and she got so scared during the wicked which and mirror of Cinderella, she wanted to go home. We worked through it but it wasn't until the second half that she could enjoy it.
"Best Day Ever!" Rapunzel's aerial acrobats were great! Lots of fun for us: Grandparents and grandchildren ages 3 - 6 years old
Let me start off by saying I'm not one to write reviews and honestly I'm not a big fan of ice skating. But the show that was put on in Oakland was one of the best live performances I've ever seen. Seats were great, performance was great, my 5 year old daughter and I had a blast! Two big thumbs up to Disney hats off to the performers
