Disney In Concert Tickets

Took my three year old and paid 100 a ticket for floor seats. We could have sat anywhere and wasn't necessary to be so close. I made he mistake assuming there would be characters or princesses, and I wanted her to have a good seat. An orchestra, a video screen, and 4 plain clothed singers. That's it. Didn't think it would have been difficult to have them dress up as Elsa or Ariel or something. They were good, but not what kids want to see. She did sit through it, but hasn't mentioned it since. Also, after and hour they broke for a 15 minute intermission, but didn't mention that is what they were doing. They took a bow after a big song, the lead conductor took a bow, and they exited the stage. No hey this is an intermission, how long it will be. Some people left not knowing. I asked the usher who gave me the info. Didn't meet expectations It was ok.

Really fun event if you enjoy Disney film music. Combination of the incredible singers, the orchestra, and the clips on the video screens brought me and my (older) kids bunches of joy.

Amazing. I loved it! The vocalists were phenomenal, and it was so amazing with a live orchestra.

The music and singing were very nice, but sadly, only half the audience was able to enjoy the film portion of the show. If your seats were not at ground level, you were lucky to see even half of the screen behind the performers. In our seats, we saw about one fourth of the bottom of the screen. We knew we were buying "cheap seats," but did not realize that we would not be able to see the screen at all, or that we would be subjected to the ventilation fan roaring directly behind our heads! Not only could we not see the video, but we could barely hear the orchestra.

I didn't go to the event. My wife, my two daughters and my granddaughter all had a great time.

I had such a great time! I would recommend this event to people of all ages. I'm 27 and it took me back to my favorite Disney movies from my childhood. The audience ranged from 4 year Olds to what looked like 84 year olds. The orchestra was amazing and the singers sounded just like the original actors from the moves. I would definitely see the performance again!

We were so impressed with the music, the singers and the screen presentations.

Happy tunes played magnificently. Both my 6 year old daughter and myself enjoyed the program immensely.

It was really nice and good!! I would recommend for any child that can sit still and enjoy music!!

The Memphis Symphony did a fantastic job bringing to life old time favorite Disney songs and so did the vocalists. I particularly liked their solution of keeping the younger audience captivated through the ~ 2 hour performance by projecting images from movies on the screen. Aside from the wonderful cultural experience, this concert was a great educational tool for young children who were able to appreciate the enormous amount of work and man power behind their favorite songs from the movies. I highly recommend this show for people of all ages (3-4 y/o and up).

Disney in Concert was one of the best Orchestral concerts I've ever been to. Hearing movie favorites performed live was so enjoyable. The conductor did an amazing job directing the Memphis Symphony Orchestra. They sounded so good! I would love for the Memphis Symphony and the Orpheum to offer more concerts like this one.

Something for everybody. A few songs from every decade of Disney movies.

Symphony was outstanding along with the local singers. Great show

The only thing that I would like to see is more variety. They could have done a lot of different musical genres by just adding music from say, The Princess and the Frog.

This show will go down as one of my absolute favorites!! There were 7 in our party and we all thought it was wonderful!!

Goosebumps of planting and I also loved it when they played the score from Pirates of the Caribbean.

The show was great and a lot of money was raised to help support the symphony orchestra, so it was a win/win!

Excellent show! Wish there was time to do the songs from more shows.
