Pay $19 to enter the event & see some plastic dinosaurs. It's setup in such a way to get through it you go through a retail section in the middle with interesting stuff your kids will want, but very expensive (I'd say double what you'd pay at a ToysrUs). Then the second half is where you need another $30 ticket for kids to do some inflatables which they'll want to do. Tack on parking and your paying around $150 for a family of 4.
This event had so much to do and the best part was for most of it there was no additional cost. I didn't expect this to be so much fun but it was!
I took my 4 year old & she absolutely loved it!! I had a blast as well! I thought the price for her was a little expensive until we got there & realized she got a free shirt, free socks ( for the 2 big inflatable slides & the bouncy house ), she got to keep the fossils she found, get her face painted, Dino racing ( 5 different power wheel jeeps that the kids got to race their selves ), ride a dinosaur, & mini golf. Other than the fossil find, & face painting, you could do everything else over & over. Totally worth the price!
we purchased general admission tickets that allowed us entrance only , however it allowed him to ride the dinosaur , play on all inflatables , and dig for for bones . the VIP TICKET is well worth it if you want to do a little bit of the extra perks at a discounted price . with the general ticket you may still choose which extra activities you do but it will cost you an additional $10 for each perk.

This is way overpriced and a waste of time. Spend $5 or $10 and buy a dinosaur book for your child. They will be way more entertained and learn a lot more about dinosaurs than this money grab. Do not go, you will be very disappointed. $45 for a mother, father and a 2.5 yr old to spend less than an hour was a major disappointment.
They changed the show from last few years and it wasn't worth even half the price! Terrible. Will never go again

It was okay, I don't think the tickets should have been $21 for an adult. I could understand the pricing for the children since they enjoyed the whole experience. I was expecting more dinosaurs. We will probably attend next year in hopes that it will be a little bit better than this year. I will say I was happy with the area just for little ones. So the bigger kids didn't run over my little guy.

This is a super fantastic event and my son, Charles, loved it! We're still talking about all the displays and he truly believes some of the dinosaurs were real (Charles is 5 years old and loves dinosaurs). The best events included the triceratops display as well as the bouncing area with the t-rex. All great stuff. Yay!!
My husband and I surprised our children to this event last weekend. They really enjoyed it! They got to read facts about the dinosaurs, see the dinosaurs, ride a dinosaur, and we ended up buying some fossils for them to go threw once we got home. They loved it.
We took our 19 month old to see the dinosaurs b/c he loves dinosaurs. When he realized how big they are in real life, he was a little scared. We had to step back a bit for him to enjoy them. It was a little overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time. Overwhelming b/c it was so crowded and people were running in every which direction. Our son, who is usually a gregarious little boy, was overwhelmed, as well. Maybe he will like it better when he's older, though! It was underwhelming b/c I expected there to be more than there was. For $58, we expected a little more.
Super lame and really expensive. Long lines for everything and most stuff costs extra.
My 5 year old grand daughter loves Dino's and we had brought her to a Dino museum and another Dino exhibit but this was by far the best!!! She loved every moment!!!
We had a great time at the DTD Unleashed in Chicago. My two year old son truly enjoyed "meeting" the dinosaurs. We learned of this experience on WGN news and decided to go right away. We recommend it to everyone.
We had a blast with our grandchildren. This was an awesome event.
I thought this event was a waste of money and this event was very disappointing.
Although the dinosaurs were amazing to look at, there was to many people as a "general admission event." The line would back up, but it wasn't to see the dinosaurs, it was to do an activity. However, you couldn't figure that out. So we spent a lot of time in line. We need to be in a larger space with better line maintenance. There should have been "waves" of times to sign up for to manage the crowds. I would recommend the event, but with better organization.
Big ripoff - extremely long lines for both tickets and getting to see the event. Only one third of floor space had dinosaurs while rest was set up for pay for use access and gifts which were very over priced and then limited checkout which was even longer lines. Entire even was a big carney event with little value. Don't waste your money / time, and it will take lot of time and money to get thru it.
