    The Village People were great!

It was great to see these groups after so many years. The Tramps, Anita Ward & Village People were all pretty amazing! I enjoyed the show very much.

    Disco music was impressive!!!

by Anonymous on 7/4/17Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

The Trammps (With Earl Young), Anita Ward and The Village People brought back good memories. Listening to them performing on stage is the music I grew up with when Disco music was popular back in the 70's. It was a really good show.

    disco show rocks!

by njdeedee on 7/4/17Golden Nugget - Atlantic City

The show started promptly at 10 with the Trammps coming out first and doing all their hits. We all felt the burn during Disco Inferno, the place and people were hot hot hot! Then Rose Royce came out singing their big hits and everyone got wet at the Car Wash!! Love that song. Sister Sledge surprised us with their own band. that was impressive and unexpected. They sounded great and we all were family by the end. The show rounded out with the Village People singing their favorites and a few other disco tunes plus a new tune cowritten by KC of Kc and Sunshine band. The show finished up a bit after midnight. The crowd really loved disco and most people sang and danced along!! Love every minute of it. Only disappointment was Lyme was not there and they were on the list when I purchased the tickets, no explanation of their absence.

    NON STOP DANCE PARTY

by JB1967 on 7/4/17Golden Nugget - Atlantic City

Was in 5th gear all night long from start to finish in this non stop dance party and sing a long.. The Tramps had everyone on their feet early followed by Rolls Royce, Sister Sledge and the Village People. Great music and great memories. The show was fast paced with real quick change overs between groups. Sister Sledge completely blew it out. Can't wait to do it again.

    Embarrassing!

by Lorl32 on 7/2/17Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

Very disappointed! The event was glorified karaoke. I was a little embarrassed for the performers - poorly done. I try to support the Bergen PAC as much as I can and go quite often, but this event was horrible. Two hours and a 150 dollars I'll never get back!

Disco Ball - A waste of time and money

by Slowhandml on 7/2/17Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

Let's start with the order of the acts...or maybe no on-stage MC or DJ ... or maybe NO BAND ... just karaoke accompaniment. Seriously !!! NO BAND... karaoke !!! It opened with the Trammps, followed by Anita Ward, then the Village People. This was wrong. It should have opened with the VP doing 3 or 4 songs, followed by Anita Ward doing... well..... her two hits and a 'filler' or two, then they should have added at least one more Disco act, then closed with the Trammps who have far more hits than the VP and really rock the house. (Note: I don't know any of the Trammps, not related to them, have nothing to gain by my comments on them). The VP had the house snoring and MANY people leaving early, not even waiting for their ONE big hit ... YMCA. They did songs only their mothers would want them to sing. BORING !!!! This was as amateur production as I've ever seen. Bergen PAC should be ashamed of themselves for allowing it to take place. I will now think long and hard before paying to see another show at Bergen and what might amount to another high school production.

    Poor production values

by VacaPaca on 7/2/17Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

Show was overpriced for what it was. No on-stage musicians. 1/2 hour intermission & last part of show was Village People. They were the best part of the show. Sorry to say it almost felt like a college production.
