Dirty Honey was absolutely fantastic. Go see them if you get the chance, you won't be disappointed.
Like so many other older guys I love the classic rockers and 80’s rock. This band is a blend of both, Desperately needed in today’s landscape. They have the looks, the talent, and quality songs. They also had good sound quality It’s hard not to be excited about their future. One thing that stood out to me was the age of the crowd, mostly older. The venue it self was so so and the cost of mixed drinks (doubles) was ridiculous $18. Drink beer!
Dirty Honey lived up to every expectation. Of course they played every song from their download ep plus two new songs which were both very good. Two cover songs and solos by their drummer, guitarist and bass player were good. The GMAC space is a firetrap waiting to happen. One doorway in and out. Only two staff at the bar made for an extremely long wait. The feeling was intimate though. Soon you won't be able to see them in anything less than a stadium. Glad I saw them when.
This experience was amazing!! Love the venue. Loved meeting my favorite new band up close and personal. Thank you.
Dirty Honey is an amazing band to see live the show in Nola was an intimate but powerful show. Definitely had a vibe of Led Zeppelin with a little bit of a modern take. If they are playing a show near you they are one band not to miss.
I was curious how Dirty Honey was going to sound considering they’re new to the scene... but I was completely blown away by Marc’s voice & the bands presence on the stage. They absolutely killed it. Marc’s voice has this sexiness to it that I really enjoy & it gives the songs such character. You guys rock!!
These guys totally ROCK. Each and every one them is incredibly talented in their own right - so you put them together and it's nothing short of GENIUS! This is what rock 'n roll is all about and Dirty Honey is the real deal. I can't wait to see what comes from them next. Rock on!!
If you get a chance to see Dirty Honey go! If you like real rock and roll these guys are bringing it back big time. No fancy effects yet. Just four guys killing it. I hope they can keep writing because if the can they are the real deal.
Dirty Honey was awesome. They were energetic and engaged with the crowd. Their opening band The Montel Jordans were also very good. So much energy! Really enjoyed the show.
The show was fabulous and they are a great band! Lots of wishes for a bright and successful future for them!
You may or may not have heard of Dirty Honey, YET. This is a newer band with an older sound. I suggest checking out their EP because it's really great music from start to finish. If you're a fan of Aerosmith, Zeppelin, Bad Company etc. then check these guys out, I guarantee you won't be disappointed. That being said, I never expected them to be even better live. The music truly comes to life in a huge way with these guys. Killer riffs, sing along songs and just an incredibly tight band in every way. These guys are a MUST SEE live band. Thank you to 97.9 X and The Kirby Center for making this happen.
