An exciting game between USC and Nebraska! Excellent pregame and halftime. Great event!
The seats were very good and the stadium was great. Not much in the way of fan activities or bowl events. Tip: take the train and save time and money.
The Holiday Bowl was a huge disappointment! The stadium is a complete dump and needs to be updated, renovated or completely replaced. The vendors ran out of food in the 3rd quarter except for nachos. The amount of souvenirs was pathetic. 2 T-shirts. 2 Sweat shirts and a few hats. Nothing for kids was available except a football. You need to make this an event people want to come to. Have some activities before the game for everyone to enjoy. Kick a field goal. Throw a football. Have some sponsored events. We got there 4 hours early expecting to have a lot of fun and all we did was walk around the parking lot until the gates opened. I would not recommend this game or stadium to anyone. The only positive were all the fans were great. Everyone was polite and enjoyed the game. Also glad the game was close. 45-42 kept all the fans in their seats.
This was the most boring match up that the Holiday Bowl has put on yet. They need to come up with more exciting teams or this is my last year as a season ticket holder. A fly over with a stealth bomber would have helped.
Everyone was very friendly and it was a cool stadium. We really enjoyed the game and it had some great moments. Good matchup!
ticketing was easy convenient. would do again. had a great time.
The Holiday Bowl was a lot of fun. Good thing my husband knew that the stadium gets cold once the sun sets. It was pretty nippy for this So Cal girl! The half time "Extravaganza Show" was just that. Wow - it was top notch. It was nice to see the attendance of the game as well.
Love the location, pre game entertainment fireworks were awsome.
Parking at the "Q" is tough, but if you know the short cuts, it makes life so much easier. The tailgating was awesome with fellow Bruin fans. Baylor is a classy university and the better team won that night. GO BRUINS!
Game featured lots of offense as expected. Parking was the worst - over 30 minutes to enter the parking lot.
Parking spaces are limited for this Holiday Bowl game venue. So most likely you would park your car in the extended parking lots and access to Qualcomm via Green trolley line of San Diego Metro Transit. Returning to your parking will be a long standing lines about 15 to 20 minutes on a packed metro trolleys. Concessions for the games are something less to be desired. There aren't much to offer.
This was the first time Baylor University played in a CA bowl game. The turnout by Baylor fans was outstanding. Even though they were obviously outnumbered by the UCLA fans, everyone was respectful and all cheering was in good fun.
Great seats for a good price. Too bad the outcome of the game wasn't to my liking.
Great game!! Bands were outstanding! Halftime show was better than usual. This is our ninth visit to the Bowl. Planning on buying tickets for December 2013 game!
Great venue for the game. Now if UCLA had just shown up to play . . .
Game was good. Parking sucked. Tailgating was 'ghetto'. LA fans were obnoxious.
Great stadium to watch a game, very fun atmosphere lots of energy, and one heck of a football game!!
I love that one local team got to play, too bad it wasn't more competitive. The one not so great aspect is that regular UCLA home games have better tail-gate and pre-game events that what was offered at the Q.
Really Good Experience Had Tons Of Fun. It Was A Late Christmas Gift From Me To My Girlfriend.
The game was almost as good as expected, this of course will change depending on the teams each year. The venue was very good. The seats were good. Food and Drink prices were rediculusly high, 24 ounce soft drink $11.00. The city made arrangements for the San Diego train trolly system and had plenty of trains going back towards the city and hotels. For 45,000 plus attendees the time from the seats back to my drop off station was less than 30 minutes.
