Dios Tickets

The members of dios (malos)—brothers Joel and Kevin Morales who both sing and play guitar, drummer Jackie Monzon, bassist J.P. Caballero and keyboardist Jimmy Cabez DeVaca—began their musical career in Hawthorne, CA. Frequently compared to another Hawthorne-area band, the Beach Boys, the music of dios (malos) combines melodic pop with an indie, D.I.Y. sensibility. Originally called dios, the group issued their self-titled debut in 2004, earning them praise from critics and an enthusiastic underground following. A sign of the growing stature of dios (malos), their song "You Got Me All Wrong" landed a spot on the soundtrack of the hit show The O.C. in late 2004. After a name change to dios (malos), the group released a second self-titled album in 2005, full of catchy lyrics, charming quirkiness and lo-fi rock.
