We like the show but less expecting it’s short and less attentive. The host tried the best of it but no imagination of linking the atmosphere. Few of characters dinosaur made less interesting. Over all is just alright .
The actual dinosaurs were great but I left feeling like it was not as exciting, interactive or entertaining as it could have been. Just left you thinking “was that it?” My kid enjoyed it but I left wanting more
The show is 45 minutes, no set, no costumes, a few puppet dinosaurs only, never more than 1 on stage at a time.
This was really well designed. If you saw Lion King, the stage production, the puppetry/design of the dinosaurs reminded me of that. It was a little less than an hour, it felt like designed for the younger kids. However, there was learning and joke appropriate for all ages. If you ever loved dinos, this is great.!
Too short of a time event. Too much narration and not enough dinosaurs. Also many of the younger children were crying in fear. Should let parents know of age appropriateness.
The concept was just 'okay'. The stage setup/decor was totally lacking just black stage drapes and a few prop-boxes. So much could have been done to make it more realistic. The show started about 12 minutes late. The first 15 minutes was just the primary cast member talking to set the 'scenario' but my son (and I) found it did not grab our attention. They brought out only 1 dinosaur puppet at at time and spent too much time talking. I found the +85% not engaging at all for children (nor adults). Online information suggests some children would go on stage to interact with the puppets, that did not happen. Lastly, the majority of the on stage members wore black clothes not at all resembling safari, Jurassic Park or any kind of 'adventure' attire. We left a little early because it just could not hold a small child's attention. I'd give the show about a 1+ out of 5 stars for which the price paid left me feeling scammed/ripped off. Totally disappointed and sad that my son did not enjoy it at all. I feel bad for families who drove more than 10 minutes just to attend and for those who spent hard earned (and scarce $'s) to have a special night out with children. The show failed on so many levels. *Maybe C-19 forced this show to cut-back, but if that was the reason, the ticket cost should have been reduced.* I don't typically post my opinions, however, in this case I just don't want other families to spend their money & valuable time with their children on something that just doesn't deliver.
Event was rather short for the amount charged. It should have begun at 6:30 p.m. but didn't start till 6:40 p.m. That was 10 minutes late, then it should have ended at 7:25 but ended at 7:20 p.m. As it was it was a short program and then to get 15 minutes cut didn't sit quite well with me. Kids were excited but it didn't across as we expected.
Fun show for the kids. I recommend it if you live close by to the show. I drove 3.5hours to see it with my daughter and the show was only 50minutes long.
My grand daughter is a HUGE dinosaur fan and she was extremely unimpressed… for good reason. The show was not a show… basically an information session that no kids were interested in. Was falsely advertised as interactive, unless you call kids stomping at one point in the show and kids yelling at a moving egg a few times, interactive. We spent over $100 on two tickets and I wouldn’t pay $5 to see it again. Save your money for something besides a puppet show.
Started 15 minutes late. Lasted 43 minutes. 2 of the 6 Dinos were not visible because size was so small & one matched the clothing the "handler" wore, so just blended in. Might have been okay (2.5 stars) if sound was good, but the HEB Center (Cedar Park, TX) has such a bad sound system that you couldn't clearly hear much of what was said. Not worth the money or the time spent driving to & from. Maybe for $10/ticket, it would be okay if you could hear it. Absolute Waste.
Show only lasts 45mins; lots of talking, not enough dinosaur time
Way below expectations. Not worth the price. Worst show we've been to ever.
Aside from the dinosaurs that were shown the show was not worth it. I felt there was too much taking from the presenter, which lent to too many restless children waiting for the next Dinosaur. Show started late and was too short. Show did allow for too much engagement from the children. Younger children weren't interested in all the talking. Would not recommend or go again. I wasn't the only parent that felt it was a waste of money. Wish it had been better.
I had a 4 year old with me. Show lasted 50 minutes. Of that, maybe 15 minutes of quality dinosaur time. The young woman spent way too much time talking and running around. Two of the dinosaurs were small and dark in color so you couldn’t see them. Trying to keep the 4 yr old attention was difficult. The t-rex was a hit. I wish I could ask for my money back
Show was 45 minutes long and extremely boring. It says there’s a meet and greet after the show, but they didn’t have that available. Not worth the money and I definitely want my money back and my time.
My son hasn’t stopped talking about Dinosaur World Live! What an amazing show, talented performers, so much fun! I nearly forgot there were puppeteers running the dinosaurs. A great time for everyone!
Too difficult to hear, too many small hand puppets. My 8 y/o and his friend asked to leave early.
My son lost interest in the little dinos, but was captivated by the big ones. Cute story line, not too long of a show, but not too short. The floor seating was not that great since we are short, my son could only see by standing on his chair the whole time.
Show lasts only 45mins and involves a lot of boring British talking.
