Great set. Amazing band. The venue has horrible inflated price drinks - $22 for 1 drink is outrageous. Other than that, great venue.

Rating: 4 out of 5 Not too bad
by kermitHE on 12/7/11Paradise Rock Club - Bostonalthough the venue was a bit cramped (with some large pillars in the way at times), the acoustics and setup were well put together. this was honestly just an impulse buy, but it turned out to be well worth it. plus with a price tag of $20, it couldn't be beat. digitalism did a fantastic job of keeping everyone energized but toned it down for a quick rest at times. all in all, really good show, I never usually give 5-star ratings, so 4 is good in my book. great live band to see!
Rating: 5 out of 5 Digitalism: a solid AV set
by massta on 12/6/11Paradise - BostonMy first time seeing this group but I've been a fan for about a year now. They do a great job laying down amazing beats that get you moving. Was very impressed with the technique of adjust the beat and transforming to another; never got too repetitive. It was nice when they finally gave us an opportunity to applaud. I'm used to bands stopping after each song so I was glad to see them have some with endings. The stage had Tetris like LED screens coming up from the floor, very similar to what NIN did once. They also had three polygon heart shaped screens, each with it's own projector, behind the stage. Felt that the visuals complemented the band well, not overpowering but could of been better in the earlier part of the set. The last few songs benefited from the lights/video (from what I remember). Looking forward to seeing them again. New album is fantastic.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Digitalism was a Crazy Dance Party
by Dawnii on 12/4/11Paradise Rock Club - BostonSeriously such a great show. The two openers were awesome as well, but the main event is what topped it all off for me. The light show was great and the music was phenomenal! Can't wait to see them again soon.
Rating: 5 out of 5by Anonymous on 12/3/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston Awesome band, awesome music, the air in the club was pretty bad and it was very crowded.
Rating: 5 out of 5by topdoghockey on 12/3/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston these guys were awesome. they brought a ton of energy and everyone in the club was dancing and having a blast. their sound is electronic but their act more like a rock band than a DJ set. instead of a guy sitting there and mixing, they have a drummer and the main guy mixes and sings and the other guy does backup vocals and mixes. try to get as close to the stage as possible, dance up a storm, and have a blast. some guy gave this band a bad rating because he only knew the first 4 songs or something, i dont know what he was talking about, the whole set was fantastic and i only knew like two of their songs. go see them!!
Rating: 3 out of 5 they were great
by chuckchillout on 12/3/11Paradise Rock Club - BostonGreat performance. The second opening act had a very long set that was way too long and became annoying (they were pretty horrendous). I thought Digitalism came on too late. By the time they actually got on stage I was exhausted. Had to leave halfway through their performance. They were awesome though from what I saw.

Rating: 1 out of 5 Forgettable
by Beaupeeps on 8/5/11Showbox at the Market - SeattleFor the1st opener we experienced badly mixed dub step cds. Apparently this was the owner of the production company, filler for the fact that capsa broke his foot a guy standing by me informed me. Next we have a guy who put together a mix of songs on a laptop some time prior and drank and smoked while just playing with sound effects. A child could accomplish this stunt to a crowd. He looked like a total douche fooling the crowd. I kept saying, "we're supporting his cocaine habit". Digitalism I enjoyed but half their set I didn't know since their new album wasn't out in the u.s. I had been so excited I bought these tickets presale, so expectations were dashed with disappointment unfortunately. See these guys at a festival, go see chromeo at the showbox.
