I had a great time. Exciting seeing the artist I grew up listening too and seeing them looking good. Great music came from this Bad Boy Family. A moment in time that I enjoyed. Thank You Bad Boys Family for coming out to Oakland and sending me back down memory lane. I work hard and this was a great get away. Bad Boys for Life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been to my fair share of concerts and this by far was the best one. 8 danced the entire time did not sit down once. It was truly amazing

  • Great Concert if you grew up in the 90s

The Bad about Reunion tour was fantastic. The concert took me back to when I was in high school during the late 90s. It's amazing how many hit records Bad Boy records had back then. From start to finish, the music was great!

  • BadBoy! BadBoy!

by PERIODCOM on 10/3/16Prudential Center - NewarkRating: 4 out of 5

DMX was amazing and such a surprise to see. He had the entire stadium rockin, and I must say he stole the show with his portion of inclusion. I know some members altered to perform each concert tour, but DMX rocked out and he made a great inclusion of the Bad Boy Team. Lil' Kim is my all time favorite Bad Boy artist. If BIG was alive, hands down, he would have been the one to steal the show. Very classic the artists, they stuck true to why we all loved them in the first place. Total performed the most consistency to their hits. I was 14 when "Trippin" came out and I still have that song downloaded in my phone. Don't sleep on Faith and Carl Thomas. Their old hits will never go out of style! Overall this concert was LIT!. I rated at 4 for Recommended and not 5 for Amazing only because I truly was expecting the entire Team. There were artists of Bad Boy that were not present and still breathing.

  • Bad Boy Family Reunion @ TD Garden, Boston

by Sandidy on 9/30/16TD Garden - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

As with all reunions, I wasn’t entirely sure if I wanted to attend and was secretly scared it would give in to egos and fall apart however as a die-hard fan for over 15years, I didn’t need to think twice about getting pre sale tickets for a September show in May, and as the tour progressed through the U.S., and it drew closer to Boston, I found myself scrambling for better seats. Sadly, there were none to be had. Entry into the venue was smooth; a new line was started as soon as I got into TD garden and there were only 3 people ahead of me in the queue. I came prepared- without a purse, so the security check was quick and simple. Interestingly, the concession stand lines were also short and service was quick. The concert memorabilia wasn’t what I expected it to be, given that this is the Bad Boy Reunion Tour in Boston, and if there’s no pop up shop to be had, at least a selection of items beyond t-shirts, baseball caps and gaudy costume jewelry is to be expected. There were several sales stands and almost all the concessions stands were open. Sadly, all the concert themed backdrops were mini photography studios charging $20/shot and the lines for the ladies’ bathrooms never seemed to diminish. I’m not one to expect musical concerts to start exactly on time (even Beyoncé was late...or was it we, who were early?) but given the numerous email reminders I received about ‘Puff Daddy starting the show promptly at 8pm’, I was not expecting a show with no opening acts to start well after 9pm. With the longest 10 minute countdown in history, Puffy started the show in true dramatic form, with the most appropriate song- Victory. He followed this with a few older songs he features heavily on before blending in his ‘newer’ more upbeat hits. The show started off on a good note and the hits followed, one after the other. Total, 112, The Lox, Mase, Lil’ Kim, Carl Thomas, Faith Evans, Black Rob and Shyne reminded us of the huge influence Bad Boy Records has had on Hip Hop & R’n’B (urban music in general), but also of the void they’ve left. Many might say that Puffy treated his artistes poorly, but we would have to look very far to find an example of a good producer. Musicians in conflict with producers and labels, mismanagement and bankruptcy is as common as it’s not, especially among musicians of color however in retrospect, compared with their peers, these Bad Boy artistes have done very well for themselves. R’n’B groups and especially rap groups are relics of the past and as French Montana jarringly reminded us, the days of good rap and camaraderie are long gone. Hip Hop is often lambasted as an over-glorification of drugs, violence, crime and misogyny but even the Lox-arguably the most hard core offering in Bad Boy’s repertoire pales in comparison to today’s pointless and tasteless radio-friendly hits. They say time heals all wounds, but perhaps money heals wounds faster. How much money do you need not to care that someone performs a diss track aimed at you, at your own show? Let’s not forget that it’s because of the Lox that ‘Free Brady’ is a thing. They might have just missed the bling-bling era but in 2016, every rapper wants the shiniest car, chain and house to go with their shiny suit and now it seems like all the anti-puffy strife was in vain. Even at their height or popularity, I don’t think any of these artistes could have sold out TD garden; even today’s hottest stars have to contend with the House of Blues. Perhaps everything worked out how it was supposed to and maybe this is the beginning of an evergreen tour whose audience isn’t the fickle popular music market but the stalwart fans of old that actually have a substantial amount of disposal income now, and prefer early evening shows. Perhaps it’s time to take up permanent residence at a venue in New York? The set changes could have been smoother and let’s face it, this is probably one of the few concerts you’ll attend this year with artistes older than yourself- 112 spent half the night coming on and going off the stage. Lil’ Kim’s backing track was too loud and there was some miscommunication between how long the loop would last. The stage would have been empty without the back-up dancers, but they were surprisingly underwhelming...and that might be a good thing. I may have been overly optimistic to expect Mary J. Blige to make an appearance (she’s somewhere in the area, or will be soon) but unlike other larger cities, Boston didn’t feature any surprises. The brothers Combs short set must have been a delight for those familiar with Christian ‘King’ Combs’ music, and for those of us, who are all too familiar with their baby pictures, it was nice to see them all grown up. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was a highly an ambitious undertaking, but Sean ‘Puff’ Combs pulled it off.

  • Bad Boy disappointed me!

    by NLO3185 on 9/29/16Prudential Center - NewarkRating: 3 out of 5

I was very disappointed with the concert, the seats off to the side of the stage are horrible and should not be sold for a concert, we were unable to see the screen which was a big part of the concert, the sound was horrible we could not hear what they were saying and which song they were singing. I don't think that the prudential center is equipped for a concert. The drinks were ridiculously overpriced $26 for 2 beers is beyond ridiculous. The seats are also too small and close together and the aisles and leg space are so narrow. As far as the performance I had fun but I expected more from Diddy, I don't think he included B.I.G. Enough, especially since they were celebrating him! He also did not include a lot of the other artists from the Bad Boy family. DMX was a great surprise even though I could not hear what he was saying! And it was a long wait without a D.J. Since he couldn't play due to equipment issues and then they barely played music. The tickets stated they started at 8pm and we waited almost 2hrs for them to come out

  • Magnificent!!

    by NE12 on 9/29/16Prudential Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

This show was absolutely amazing! I think I stood on my feet singing and dancing the entire time. What was genius about the show was the way that it flowed, and the way that it was set up. There was never a dull moment! There was no time in between acts, andno waiting. It was just a nonstop party! The surprise guest were an added bonus! I'm so glad I got opportunity to see the tour! Bad Boy for Life!

I felt like I was in my early 20's again. Had a good time listening to great music of the 90's.
