    Diavolo was very forgettable

by CaptPrincess on 3/10/14Fox Cities PAC - Appleton

Honestly, the worst performance I have ever seen at the PAC. The dancers themselves are obviously talented at what they do, but there was no point to the performance at all. Everyone just waits for the fun or excitement to begin. We had a group of 8 and not one of us wanted to even think about it, although it did become a laughing joke for the weekend. Find a few kids and adults on the playground and they would be more entertaining. It's actually embarrassing to have spent the xmas money on this, and it's 2 hours I will never get back. The PAC always has great events, this is one it not one of them. Again, even if dancing or orchestra or whatever isn't your thing, the acts at the PAC always amaze; this does not.

    Not my cup of tea.

by GeorgeRod on 3/10/14Fox Cities PAC - Appleton

It was boring, plain and simple. They did the same thing for too long. Like a broken record so annoying. I fell asleep, that's how boring it was. Also, they divinded the show into two. And had an intermission in between and NO ONE knew if they show was over. They didn't announce an intermission or said anything. Everyone was like - "that's it?" are we leaving? like everyone on my row in front and back was extremely confused. I had to get up and ask a clerk otherwise you wouldn't have known.

    Diavolo was exciting!

by Artsfan2 on 2/4/12Valley Performing Arts Center - Northridge

Diavolo's bold and skillful choreography keeps you spellbound throughout the performance. At times the dancers transform themselves into projectiles and there is constant motion combining ballet, jazz, modern and more. The dancers demonstrate a masterful control of their bodies, often leaving the audience spellbound. At times you want to shout, "I feel you!" because the performance speaks to you. Diavolo touches you, it's truly amazing.

    Vary good

by Zenotter on 5/5/11The Ohio the - columbus

This was a great performance. I am not sure what the others reviewers where expecting. Diavolo was artistic and innovative, with a lot of wow factors involved. We were able to talk to the dances after the event and that was amazing.

    Diavolo means a waste

Horrible show unless you are very artistic. My wife and I left at the break.

    Visually Interesting; Emotionally Neutral

by JollyOstrich on 3/20/10Palace Theatre Columbus - Columbus

The acrobatics and the stage props were overly interesting. The dancers, though technically savvy, were unable or incapable of expressing the emotional side of this performance. The music was just there. Pre-recorded. Added nothing to the pieces as you could not feel the music as you may have with a live pit orchestra.

    Diavolo was a great experience!

by MandM6 on 3/20/10Palace Theatre Columbus - Columbus

At first I wasn't sure if the kids would enjoy the artistic quality of the performance and boy was I wrong. They all enjoyed the various acts from the teenagers down to our our 3 year old. It was unique and engaging and I was very impressed with both the artistic and athletic aspects of the performance.
