Detroit Red Wings History
Founded in 1926, the Red Wings are one of the NHL's Original Six franchises. The team has captured 11 Stanley Cup Championships, most recently in 2008, as well as six conference championships and 19 division titles. As of 2023, the Red Wings have the most Stanley Cup trophies of any U.S.-based NHL franchise. Eight Red Wings players have their jersey numbers hanging from the Little Caesars Arena rafters: Leonard Patrick “Red” Kelly, Terry Sawchuk, Nicklas Lidström, Ted Lindsay, Gordie Howe, Alex Delvecchio, Sid Abel, and Steve Yzerman.
The Red Wings were purchased in 1982 by Mike and Marian Ilitch, who invested their family savings in 1959 to open the first Little Caesars store in a Detroit suburb.

We attended a pre-game party with special guest star, Larry Murphy. He was very personable and friendly to the crowd, and had great stories to tell about years gone by, and what he sees for the future of the Wings. Although the Wings ended up losing against the Blackhawks, it was a very exciting game.

Wings dominated the entire game and the game was fantastic. Only wish I had gotten some sparty gear.
Everything about our experience was seamless. From arriving and getting through security, to finding our seats (there were so many people to help!), and even getting drinks and food. Everyone at the arena was super nice, and we just had an amazing time. It was awesome to be in the stands for another Red Wings win!
I miss the fact that you no longer have vendors in the stadium offering beverages or food to your seating area always looked forward to getting a hotdog or a beer from the vendors. Hopefully this may return
Even though the Wings didn't win this one, the energy was fabulous because of the effort put in by LCA to keep the fans engaged. We love the Pre-game fire-up, the Sing A longs, videos and all the fans on the jumbo tron. Also, the Lion King "baby" presentation was hilarious.
Great customer service, ease of use for elderly patron. Loved how they kept us in a game where home team struggled.

Despite lots of traffic the parking is so close to LCA. Electronic tickets were easy to access/use, saw staff efficiently helping others. Clean and well lit. All staff was happy and friendly, and boy does that make a difference! Looking forward to coming back.
A short walk to Little Cesars from the hotel... felt safe and had a great night with great friends... and happy to have our team take the W! Go CAPS!
The game itself was great, along with the arena and friendly staff. Also, offering the Morhers Room for moms with babies was absolutely wonderful and so appreciated. However, I would never purchase tickets in the upper section again. You are so high and at such a steep angle it’s actually scary. I had 3 kids with me and it was terrible. I would sit much lower next time.
Sat in section 226 portal 64. Hot Dogs suck! Under cooked and buns come right from package, not warm or soft. Pretzels still frozen. Bathrooms are clean and fully stocked. Ticket Master or LCA made our seats look awesome, once we got to them... not so much, map is very wrong!! Been to 6 six games at LCA, now i know where to purchase. But when you have a family of 3 its also hard to pick seats without being rejected because of "open" seat!
Our son bought us tickets for a Xmas gift. They arrived via email and downloaded right to the phone. Nothing to loose or forget. Thanks
No outside restrooms available. Plus after less than 14 minutes upon entering we couldn't get an autograph as advertised because the arena shut it down. No cash was accepted, only card. The lines were horrible.

I took 13 members of my family to Little Caesars Arena to watch the Detroit Red Wings. It was an amazing experience for all of us. This only happened because I was able to get 13 tickets from Ticketmaster.
Food and beverage costs are over the top expensive.
Our seats were amazing! First row in the mezzanine. The stadium is beautiful. Staff was friendly. Bathroom lines short. Great overall experience.
