My kids and I go to games every years, and we always have a great time.we love the red wings.
It was a great experience once again at lca,I did lose some keys can you contact me about how to get em back
The seats were in a section with a beautiful view of the ice.
Venue was great...parking was easy. Too bad Wings lost.
Motor city casino does a great job for these free type of events for our sports team. It is a joy to watch the games with a huge group of people to cheer on the home team. The workers are friendly and you can not beat the free pizza and pop and $1 drafts and the intermissions are always enjoyable. Hats off to Motor city casino.
Went to a few Pistons watch games and this is just as exciting
Free hotdogs, free pizza, free soft drinks, $1.00 beer, giant screen, and even $10.00 Freeplay from the Motor City Casino! It doesn't get better.
We really enjoyed the experience. The free food, dollar beer and Hockeytown picture was a fantastic added addition. The only drawback is the food not be warm enough and sometimes the beer being to warm. But hey the beer was a buck, it's hard complain. The picture with retired Wing Drew Miller was awesome.
even though we lost, we enjoyed the event. Thank you
Another great experience at Sound Board for the Wings viewing party. Parking, getting into the Sound Board, the food, autograph session....everything was great. Drew Miller was really nice and seemed to go out of his way to autograph, take pictures, and talk to people. Only one suggestion....maybe have some cookies or something with the food?
Always a good time! The Oberon on draft was a fantastic addition at this years viewing party!
I bought these tickets as a Christmas present for my sons. None of them had ever been to LCA before. The game turned out to be an exciting one that went into overtime! The sale price and no fees made this possible. Parking was convenient, but expensive. They did not get to explore the whole facility, but enjoyed themselves as first timers. My grandkids are hoping this grandma can save up enough for them to share the Red Wing experience. Go Wings!
We had a great night. The only thing that could of made it better was if they had won but it was a good game.
First time attending a Detroit Red Wings game at Little Caesars Arena and we were impressed. The facility is easy to maneuver around and tons of food options. The staff went above and beyond with any and all questions that I had. The only issue was we were not able to read the maps that are located in the arena to find our seats. The lower level was easy to read but the upper levels were not.
We were able to purchase two tickets near our season tickets. It was a great time.
I got a chance this past weekend to finally get to LCA to watch the Wings play the Senators. I can sum up the entire evening in one word AMAZING. From the on site parking you can book in advance to the easy access and well light arena parking and entrances I felt safe with my family. The arena is laid out great and the many, many concession spots got us through the lines fast both before and during the intermission. The lights and audio that accompany the enormous screen made for a ground shaking experience that blew away past games I had been too in both old arenas. They really planned this this new arena out from start to finish, the whole experience was fantastic and I can't wait to get back for another game. GO WINGS!
The game was exciting, the food was fantastic (if a bit overpriced), and the atmosphere was nice... The Woo chants that got egged on by the DJ were atrocious. It literally ruins the experience when one person per section is screaming WOO with no tie in to the game. They're audible on the TV broadcast, which is bad enough, but to hear them in person and not be able to focus on a tie game going into overtime with direct implications for the division and draft lottery... That's a problem. The DJ is also a problem on his own. His style never seems to fit the "hockey" world. It's hard to assign a genre to hockey, but playing bland, top 40 hits to get the fans hype has never been the move. Whether it's country, rock, pop punk, 80s rock ballads, new rap, or WWE song intros, they're all more well accepted than the boring stuff he continues to pump out. He has no understanding of the fans who come to the games and doesn't care to learn. You can actively see this in the EDM he plays. Detroit is the birthplace of a large portion of EDM and has a budding homegrown star in Griz. Yet the songs he plays are not particular to Detroit, the city's style, culture, or interests. They're not even the freebie "here's our hometown guy" songs. He chooses EDM songs that hit the top of the charts a while back or a random goal song that, again, could be for any team, not particular to Detroit as they were in years past.
everything was great. The arena is nice We loved our seats. Being on the 2nd floor the concessions were quick. News Years Eve with the Wings is always a great time. My only complaint is this. I have been a die hard Wingnut for over 30 years and have been to over 300 games at the Joe. Little Ceasars is not the Joe. The fans are quiet and reservered. the joe was home advantage all the way. Not so much anymore. Hopefully Stevie will turn the product on the ice around and the crazy fan base that used to be will be once again.
We had a fantastic time at the Red Wings New Years Eve Game! Everything was more than expected! The only issue was not being able to get to the parking lots prior to game time due to the earlier event, Great Lakes Invitational Hockey Tournament. Poor planning of not allowing enough time between events caused me to have to spend $40 for parking even though I had a pre-paid parking pass. I was not able to get to the parking lot!! This caused me to be late for dinner with my family. At least I did drop off my wife, so she did not have to drive around for over a half-hour to park.
For some who doesn't like to do parties on New Year's Eve it is a nice night out. Cheap seats can be reasonable but you have to careful of parking. Parking costs as much as a ticket does.
