DETHKLOK, an extreme metal band, is the most successful entertainment act on the planet and the seventh largest economy in the animated world of Adult Swim's "Metalocalypse.". Live, they are a multi-media powerhouse that showcases animation, comedy and brutality, excellently recreating the popular albums and animated visuals in a live atmosphere. Band members include musician and show co-creator Brendon Small and legendary drummer Gene Hoglan and more!

Dethklok was awesome. I was blown away. I couldn't even move because the metal was so heavy. From the moment they came on stage, it was non-stop 1000mph full send. Also, I made friends with Face Bones. I absolutely would go see Dethklok again.
Mannn . I went to the concert in Fl and I’m literally looking at other tour dates in different states to see them again just in case I never get to see them again 😭 I’ve always been a fan of dethklok and metalocolypse since I was a kid and I even liked batmetal in my cringey middle school days XD (only just putting 2&2 together a few years back) But yeah I want to see them again so bad that pit was BRUTAL and the money I would spend to see them again 🤌🏽🤌🏽
I had a blast at the show, and would go again given the opportunity.
Ok. So I’ve always been a Dethklok Fan and I am a Jason Richardson fan but Babymetal was new and all 3 shut that house DOWN! It was the most magical thing I’ve experienced in my Life.
It's not my style of metal. Too much screaming and I can't understand the lyrics. But the visuals are non-stop and aggressive. There's gore and absurd images with flashing lights. Not a bad show, but it's not for me. I much preferred Babymetal who played before.
Shout-out Molly from the mez at glc live. She made the event much more enjoyable for me and my son. Hands down best experience from staff at a show ever. I'll come back if you can keep staff like her. Thank you.
Everyone who performed was FANTASTIC! I never thought I’d ever get to see Dethklok live, and it was a life-changing experience. Even if they didn’t play Murmaider II: The Water God 😂
Jason Richardson's solo act was a strong opener. Fast, savant-level guitar playing. If anything, the one song that had prerecorded vocals almost detracted from his performance. For Grand Rapids, Baby Metal was next, I wasn't fully aware of them before this concert, but I'm a fan now. Definitely a unique vibe, which is welcome. And finally, Dethklok brought it home, the actual musicians stayed mostly in shadows as the animated music videos played behind them. Brendon Small gave a great performance, he did some character voices between songs. I wish they would've played a little longer, but it's a co-headliner tour, and I'm sure Baby Metal fans feel the same way. The crowd was active, but not belligerent, altogether very fun. I hope to see all the performers again.
It was one of the best shows I've ever been to. I love Dethklok and Baby Metal and the opener, Jason Richardson, was really dope.
I've been waiting to see dethklok for about 10 years. They sound great live, and the show was all I could have hoped for. I just hope this means a full on return of Dethklok, vs just a one off tour to support the movie. I'll go every time they're in my area.
From start to finish, the show was incredible! Blown away by each act. Haven’t listened to Baby Metal much beforehand but was blown away by their performance. Dethklok was incredible as well. Easily my favorite show of the year. Definitely worth the money! Significantly better than the Avenged Sevenfold concert from a month ago at Pine Knob. Which the tickets were much more expensive!
Freedom Hill is a great venue for an outdoor show. Baby Metal got the sold out crowd pumped. But Dethklok sounded awful. You couldn't hear the second guitarist and Brendon's guitar was too loud. The screen footage was not new. They barely played an hour. There was no Dr. Rockso! Best part was Face Bones comedy.
Dethklok was 10/10. I was right upfront in front of Bryan’s area rocking out as hard as I could. It was such a fantastic night. I hope you come to Detroit again. Thank you all so much. Thank you, a thousand times over. I hope I see you all soon again! I would not hesitate for a second at the chance to buy another ticket. I did not think I would like Babymetal as much as I did, thank you for exposing me to them as well. Also, Jason Richardson is an amazing, very talented guitarist. I loved his King of The Hill intro. Felt like it was my generation’s Eric Johnson.
First, I LOVED the concert itself, but the venue (and some fans) were freaking horrible. First, I bought a VIP seat and received an email saying I had to be present at 4:30pm for early entry - the venue didn't open for over an hour after that. Once inside realized that my VIP seat was lower (sitting) than the Mosh Pit they set up in front which meant I would have to stand to see the show. There was a no smoking/vaping policy at the (outdoor) venue which is great as I have breathing issues. I mean, it WOULD have been great IF the venue's Security enforced it which they didn't AT ALL. Not even when people were openly smoking joints. Clouds of vape smoke obscured the view to the stage often. Again, GREAT Bands, just booked at a horrible venue. Never again!
The show in question was without a doubt one of the best ones I’ve been to in recent memory. I discovered BabyMetal in 2013/14 and to see them live a decade later was a phenomenal experience. Dethklok definitely stole the show with their trademark brutality and humor. The staff was friendly and the parking was easier than most venues I’ve been to. Was not impressed with $14 beers, when they are cheaper at a baseball or football game something is wrong hahaha. Overall I recommend this venue to everyone who gets a chance. Smaller in size but not too crowded either. Felt intimate and comfortable at the same time. 10/10
Killer show I didn’t know the opener or much about baby metal going into the show but they killed it! Then when dethklok took the stage it went from a 10 to an 11. My only real issue was probably because of the venue (or maybe I’m just going old and deaf) but I had trouble making out a lot of the lead solos from where I was sitting it kinda meshed together and I heard more drums then the guitar solo
The last time Dethklok came to Pittsburgh was around 2013. I didn't have anyone to go with then so I missed out. But this time I decided to go with or without someone so I wouldn't miss out again. Dethklok is worth the hype they garner. What a spectacular show! All members are crazy talented but they would be nothing without the amazing crew that sets up for them. All in all, this is an amazing memory that'll I'll cherish forever.
Awesome Concert in Philly. Jason Richardson's metronome wasn't working, and he was a little paniced, but was absolutely shredding nonetheless. Babymetal came out next, and it feels like they were off stage so fast! If the concert ended right there, I'd be happy. 10/10. Dethklok was amazing. I had to figure out how to breathe again. They played a bunch of my personal favorites, and the crowd responded during Fansong. I had a blast and I wish I could see this show a 2nd time.
Changed my life... forever! Best experience. <3 <3
