  • Great show and Venue

by Tom on 9/16/25Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Des had a great show. Lots of laughs throughout the night. The intro comedians were funny as well. Punchline's venue is the right size to enjoy the show close up, and the food/drinks are reasonably priced.

Definitely recommended this comedian - he was hilarious, and who knew “easy on the eyes”!! Stellar show! everything went smoothly with tickets and the venue . My seats were bad , at first but luckily there were 2 seats elsewhere - if all 4 of my guests would have come we’d have been behind a pole …. Not sure if GA is first come seating ?

  • Hilarious, sharp wit, a stand out comedian

by MaryH on 10/1/24Gramercy Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Des Bishop’s show in New York Sunday night was exceptionally funny. His wit and charm stem from his Irish-American background & long stint in Ireland. His comedy blends clever Irish witticisms with sharp observational humor, making his performance both refreshing and hilarious. Whether he's diving into cultural differences, personal experiences, or everyday quirks, Bishop's ability to connect with audiences is impressive. His energy on stage, combined with his thoughtful and often self-deprecating humor, leaves audiences laughing throughout his shows. A true master of comedic timing, Bishop's material feels both relatable and original, making him a standout in the comedy scene.

  • Des Bishop does not disappoint!

I had a fun night out at the Des Bishop show. He was hilarious! I love the passion that he puts into telling the stories. I really related to all the Gen X comedy. Well worth it. I would see his show again.

  • Hilarious engaging show.

Des Bishop is a very talented comedian. The two acts before him were also very good. I really enjoyed the show. The venue is okay. The seats were good, but the air conditioning was turned up a little high for my taste. I'm sure if it'd been one of those blistering days I would have been grateful for all that air conditioning.

  • Fabulous!!

Does Bishop was fantastic. He was just as good as anticipated after seeing his specials on Netflix and out-takes on TikTok. The venue was great, the staff were so helpful. The wait staff were very efficient - got your food and drinks quickly, closed out your check in time for the show to be over. It was a well oiled machine.

  • Never heard funnier than this.

by etmovinon on 6/25/17Caroline's - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I went to see Des Bishop at Caroline's last night. My face still aches from laughing. I have never, ever, laughed like that. His humor hits all topics and every one on the mark. I think the audience identified with everything he talked about which made it all the more funnier. He'll be here (in the USA) for a while, so look for him.
