With no NHL so far this year, the Denver Cutthroats offer a great alternative for those who love hockey. Sure, they're not pros but, the tix are affordable, parking is free, and the event is VERY family friendly. Had a great time - we'll be back!
My husband and I took our 2 kids ages 12 and 6 to see the game we all had a great time . A lot of fun and friendly staff made this a place that we will take our kids again and again!!
Denver Cutthroats are amazing. The Venue is the perfect size, the tickets are a great price and the games are intense and interactive.
Since there is no NHL season so far, CHL will have to do for now. Good hockey game. The Denver Colessium is old but works. Smoke deck is a little crowded. Other than that it was a positive experience and will go again.
Three periods of fast clean play, no goons and overtime to boot. What's not to like.
Great game with high quality players. Who needs the NHL? The CHL is just as entertaining and a much better bargain!
Looking for a family night out not killing you on the price of the NHL (when they return) this is not a bad alternative. Not the NHL.... but ok to watch some live hockey. Need to get arena colder. Felt like I was watching a concert not a hockey game. You could tell the ice suffered just after one period.

Loved that I could buy 4 tickets, not pay for parking, and have a great time for way, way less than at NHL prices! Of course, the players aren't as fancy, and the play isn't as finessed, but it was a great way to spend a Friday night!
The game itself was great and could have been played just the same in a college arena. The Denver Coliseum shouldn't be able to charge more than $15 for a ticket anywhere in this stadium. The best seats are above rows 15, due to perspective. The concessions were nothing special but expensive. New healthy or at least better concessions and more beer options would add value to my ticket.
