Too Loud to Even Hear
by Darc1e on 11/12/22Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 4 out of 5The sound was far too loud, I couldn't hear the vocals on the songs and didn't have that great of a time because of it. :(

Demi put on a great show!!! Music quality was great, everyone in her band was amazing. I genuinely have not been to a better show in my life!!
Demi was simply amazing. One of the best concerts of my life!
Everything was perfect other than the volume of the band. Demi is a very powerful singer and there was multiple times where you couldn’t hear her. The same goes for the opener. I’m not sure if sound check didn’t catch this issue, or maybe sound check didn’t happen at all and they were winging it, but it wouldn’t been nice if the turned down the band a little and up demos mic. Over all great concert and venue, would absolutely go again! If I would I would give a 4.5/5 stars just a minor issue
Demi’s set was only about an hour and her vibe didn’t suit her voice and talent. The familiar songs were all remixed to sound more punk rock. She didn’t really show case her vocal talent as I’ve witnessed in previous Demi Lavato concerts.
The show was absolutely incredible, fantastic, magical. So many great songs. She sang a few hits, half of the newest album. The setlist was amazing and the band was incredible. They literally shook the place as the floor was vibrating. Demi’s vocals were so amazing and loud. I love Demi and this was the best show
Demi put on a great show!!! Sounded great!!! Venue was clean
Part of my childhood was healed because I finally got to see Demi! Best concert I’ve been to so far this year! And I’ve been to a lot lol.
She has an amazing voice as always. I loved how she put her punk rock spin on things but I was hoping for more of her old stuff to be mixed in with her new stuff. She only played for an hour and 15 minutes which was a bummer.
Demi Lovato put on one hell of a show. Was amazing start to finish. She killed it
So I topk my 22yr old daughter who loves Demi and my twin 16yr old boys. The boys have never been to a concert so I just wanted to give them the experience. I was worried they would be bummed that it was 2 girl bands, but after about 30min of texting they finally got into it and had a really good time. Deadsara was good. The singer reminded me of debbie harry from blondie. Really good vocals. Everyone left happy. Oh, and the accoustics there are great.
The concert was amazing!! The only thing I wish I knew from the venue was that the section 100 was on the floor and I was most likely gonna be standing to try and see. Other than that everything was great! And now I know section 100 is the floor and I would want the front of it
Not only did I see her in Denver. I flew out to Dallas. It was amazing! she kills it live and her openers did as well!
Demi Lovato is absolutely amazing. She is so beautiful and her voice sounds better live. I love Demi and she saved my life. I wish I could meet her. She puts on an amazing show and I can’t wait to go to another one!
I’ve been a Demi fan for yearsss!! I finally got to see her in concert and man it was amazing! She sounds exactly how she does on all her songs! Her voice is amazing! I hope I get to see her again!
I went because my girlfriend is a huge fan of Demi, it was an awesome time seeing how happy she was and I also had a great experience and can say I’m a fan! Great people in the crowd as well we made friends with the people on each side of us and it made it even better
This concert was so much fun, everything was perfect! Dead Sara was ab amazing opening act and Demi was amazing as always. I've gone to a concert for all of their tours and I gotta say this one was the most fun for me. Can't wait for the next one!
It was my very first time seeing Demi, I was excited & happy! She is amazing! Her songs define everything she felt and everything that happened in her life, she is maybe lost, unhappy and lonely but one thing is for sure, true fans or people in her life will always stay with her no matter what! Demi deserves to be happy and loved! She is also human who falls down sometimes and we are not the ones to judge! We all have our own difficulties in life too and we are not perfect! What we need is to be with her throughout the way, make her feel that it’s okay not to be okay, it’s okay to fall but get back up stronger! Make her feel that we love her, that we are there for her even if she doesn’t want us to know. True people who loves her will give her shoulder to lean on when she feels like crying, will stay with her and hold her to make her feel safe, will sit quietly with her if she just want someone to listen, will Be there to support her when she’s about to fall & break down, she deserves to have someone who she can rely on without any doubt! Someone who will walk with her throughout her journey and never leave her side! Someone who is okay with her not being perfect but will never judge her, someone who will commit their self on loving her unconditionally & specially someone who will not change her and actually accepts her flaws! Demi, I see you’re hurting inside, it’s my first time seeing you in person & I felt all the pain from the way you sing your songs. Some people watched you and just having fun, I paused, listened to all the lyrics you were singing, looked at you then realized how beautiful of a person you are! You have a beautiful soul, a warm heart and you deserve to be “seen” “heard” “understand” & “love”! Thank you for sharing your time with us and for sharing your voice! It’s an amazing experience I will never forget! May you always find the courage to stand strong, if you ever feel like you’re about to fall, remember that you are not alone! I believe in you Demi! I may not know everything about you but I see you, I hear you and I appreciate you! You matter! Don’t ever forget that! Thanks again Demi! I look forward to seeing you again on stage someday! I really loved this incredible experience! You are just beautifully amazing! XOXO 🖤
Demi truly brought it to her show. Her vocals are still top notch. Her band was just down right incredible - lead guitarist Nita Strauss is amazing and skilled. They put on a stellar show for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Now, had I wished it would go on for another hour - YES! But, I’m not in charge. Amazing show!!!
literally lived my childhood dream seeing demi. she was back at her roots with this album and executed it perfectly! her all girl band was soo good! her guitarist was very interactive with the audience. demi’s performance was amazing, i was able to be in the pit and see her perform up close. she really knows her audience. vocals are wild. definitely not disappointed at all. concert and album 10/10. her opener Dead Sara was great! Didn’t listen to their music, but have now downloaded some of their music since. They got the crowd pumped and her vocals were unreal
