    Caveman is a funny show

    by Pedro12345 on 11/17/15City Theatre - Detroit

Starts out calling men assholes and it gets better from there. Believe me it true but we all know why...

    Laughter!

    by Goatguy46 on 11/17/15City Theatre - Detroit

The show was hysterically funny from beginning to end. My wife and I went with another couple and we all enjoyed the show and are glad we went. Many "truths" were spoken by the caveman and were presented with great comedic style. The body language and the facial expressions of the caveman were outstanding. For the price of the ticket, we got a really great return on our entertainment dollar. We totally recommend the show to others - especially married couples.

This was my third time seeing this play. I found it to be just as entertaining as the other times I saw it.

    A nice evening.

by BecLin on 11/16/15City Theatre - Detroit

I saw this show when it first came our on Broadway and thought it was incredible! There was a lot of information and it seems evolutionary explanations for how we behave today. We enjoyed the evening and it was entertaining, like a stand up comic with a bit more info, but it was no where close to the show I saw years ago!

    Excellent Show

by Attendee122014 on 1/3/15The Improv at Harrah's Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Show was very well done. However, this show is very scripted and there is very little interaction with the audience when compared to stand up comedy. Nonetheless, it is very funny and makes for a great part of an enjoyable night in Las Vegas.

A Sweet, Insightful Funny Look at M-F Differences

by TurpinTodd on 12/22/14The Improv at Harrah's Las Vegas - Las Vegas

This hilarious show takes place in a small theater, so all seats are good. The show begins with a short film of the star and his wife in funny situations. The rest of the show is a long monologue about relationships and how men and women approach the world and their interactions with it differently, to great comic effect. There is use of some props and staging. Be aware that there is some adult language used, but not gratuitously, in very realistic ways. If you are looking for great comedy for about an hour, you should definitely see this show.

    Brings Humor to Real Life

by itsjustshelle on 12/22/14The Improv at Harrah's Las Vegas - Las Vegas

This show was real funny. Definitely a good show for those in the dating game or married. It brings the humor out in real situations but also makes you think about what is being said. I would definitely recommend seeing this show while in Vegas.

    Better than I expected!!

by Squeezerone on 12/13/14The Improv at Harrah's Las Vegas - Las Vegas

A show that a couple can go to with friends and be entertained as well as encouraged. We need more comedians like Kevin Burke. Thanks man, for a meaningful night of entertainment in Vegas.

Would go again and highly recommend for couples!

by CharliMen on 12/3/14The Improv at Harrah's Las Vegas - Las Vegas

The show was interactive throughout, and he had impressive and thoughtful insight into both the male and female psyche. My husband and I kept looking and smiling at each other knowingly when he'd hit on one of our hot buttons - which seemed like almost every one. In hindsight, a lot of what he said seems like common sense, but I guess if no one actually takes the time to explain it to you, its not something you actually consider. The different ways of communication, the different abilities of each gender is all something we already know, but the way he presents it really makes us realize that its okay that we're different, and that we should appreciate each others strengths and compensate for each other when challenged. In fact, I would highly recommend this show for the soon to be married, newly married and even the long-haulers because it helps us to see each other in a more flattering light, and helps us to further develop the tools to foster each other's strengths. Plus its just plain funny. It touches on real issues, and if you listen carefully (and have an interest in improving your relationship), you can gain valuable insight and begin to change your concept of your partner's "annoying" habits immediately. My favorite moment was when he said he was "selling monogamy in Sin City", and I realized this was more than a comedy show, and perhaps that is why it has lasted so long.

    Loved it!

by AlicenWonderland on 8/5/14Warner Theatre - Washington

This is the 3d time I've seen this show. Absolutely love the humorous details every time. We always take friends to share in the fun. Seats at the Warner are woefully tight, and shabby looking, compared to the ornamental decor on the ceiling and walls. We had to spread out to have an empty seat next to us.

Defending the Caveman - Laugh Riot the whole time

by Mancavedweller on 8/5/14Warner Theatre - Washington

This one caveman show was as hilarious as it was insightful as it revealed the differences between men and women. From the very start of the show, the laughs flowed naturally from the audience as we all saw ourselves portrayed in social situations in our roles as caveman (Hunter) and cavewoman (Gatherer). Throughout the show, couples would look at each other and laugh at how they related directly to the situations portrayed on the stage. A great belly laugh of a show that is a must see for couples of all ages. One issue with the technical side of the performance; his microphone would cut out frequently during the show and we would miss a word or two each time it happened.

    Defending the Caveman

    by cybercat109 on 8/5/14Warner Theatre - Washington

There's always a chance of someone getting offended whenever comparing the two sexes, but not in this show. Vince Valentine's comparison was refreshing and hilarious and SO TRUE! He examined the unique "culture" of each sex, with all its values and virtues. Many of his examples were so true to life you couldn't help but nod your head and agree. Being a woman, I really have to say that we need to stop being so judgmental of the opposite sex. They accept us as different; we should do the same (and stop trying to change them). That's what we have girlfriends for! Great evening of entertainment!
