    Great Lineup - Accoustics Suck

by BeverlyJills on 12/10/10WaMu Theater - Seattle

I attend this event every year, and would have given five stars. But, WaMu Theater's accoustics suck. I hope that The End will move this to a venue where the music will sound as good as it is able.

I really had a great time at the show. We didn't have to wait outside in the rain to get in, the security personel were very fast and friendly. The only thing that I would change would bed the beer garden part, aside from the prices of the drinks ( $31.00 for 4 drinks) and possibly th orgainzation of the lines would make it go a little smoother. But that is just about it.

Lineup Order Was Odd/No Event T-Shirts

by Spochuck on 12/10/10WaMu Theater - Seattle

The lineup order was a bit odd. Broken Bells is a wonderful band, but they are not particularly high energy, so whoever chose to have them close the show, made an odd decision. Clearly, Jimmy Eat World or Black Keys should've taken that position. Also -- Why no EVENT T-shirt? I get that the individual bands want to sell their own shirts...but 107.7 couldn't pony up to make ONE t-shirt that just lists the bands with the same logo they put on the website? I took my nephew to this concert, his very first one, and he walked away without a t-shirt to remember it. What a shame.

Great concert for the price. All the bands were fabulous. I only wish the sets were longer.

    The black keys rock...HARD!

    by MIKIS165 on 12/10/10WaMu Theater - Seattle

Temper trap rocked, Cake rocked, Jimmy Eat World rocked harder, the black keys rocked my friggen socks off. They were soooooooo good it was amazing that two guys can rock as hard or harder than a full group. The last band The Broken Bells were too mellow to be at the end of a 6 hour concert they should have been in the beginning. They were good just too slow everyone left and I was too tired to stay also. You cant really follow The Black Keys they r too good. Overall a great concert.

    Great time, but

by EveryoneIsACritic on 12/10/10WaMu Theater - Seattle

Okay, to be honest, had a great time. Jimmy Eat World is not my thing, but I understand why they're there. But can someone explain to me why Broken Bells is a good choice to headline? Same stagnant stuff across the whole album and in concert. Also, who was in charge of the music between sets? Also, I thought The End was a radio station? You guys played the same 10 songs over and over throughout the night with a couple new ones mixed in. And do I really need to hear Cake, Black Keys, and Broken Bells over your loudspeakers while you're setting up for other bands when they're coming out later in the night.

    Deck the Hall Ball rocked!

by WinchWench on 12/10/10WaMu Theater - Seattle

The venue had everything----seating if you wanted to sit, standing if you wanted to stand, beer was very easy to get, bathrooms were stocked and I didn't have to wait.

Cake was not the headliner, and they should have been. Many of the other bands got to perform for much longer.

I loved this show so much! A good estravaganza of alternative mainstream rock.
