    Debbie Gibson is on Fire!

by Lesliegil on 10/22/18Allen Event Center - Allen

Debbie Gibson always gives an excellent performance and is on Top of Her Game. I enjoyed the performance, the venue is terrific and located in a great location. Was my first time in Dallas and enjoyed my entire “ Dallas Adventure”. I would come again to see Debbie Gibson with my niece, who was s a true “Debhead”.

Meet & Greet poorly executed no organization

by Discobabe85 on 10/21/18Allen Event Center - Allen

The meet and greet was poorly executed and there was little to no organization from the check in of guests to the actual meet & greet. There was only wine served no water or soft drinks and some lady kept saying beer was on the way. Food was veggies & dip then salty small meat/peppers/onions on a stick and some puff pastry thing. The first two artist walked down the line hugging, taking pics and signing autographs for the fans Tittany & LIsa Lisa were awesome.. No one from the venue guided the artists they were just on their own. For Debbie Gibson I waited 2 hours in line with no real order from say fan club, to VIP meet & greet bought in advance to those bought that night. It was just waiting with a couple security people around. Granted Ms. Gibson stayed to the end and gave each fan an experience all their own. Ms. Gibson was stellar on and off stage. The poor part fell on the venue with no organization, crappy food, only wine to drink and again over and over no organization. They crammed as many rows of seats as they could on the main floor to make all the $$ they could. Artists Tiffany, Lisa Lisa and Debbie Gibson rocked the house and gave awesome performances. And gave the fans what they wanted. If you can see these ladies in concert do it they are awesome!

    Debbie Gibson Tiffany

by Mpaw on 10/21/18Allen Event Center - Allen

So the concert was good but the sound was horrible and I mean horrible. Tiffany's first song was I saw u standing there and I couldn't tell till half way through the song. The music was too loud and the singers got drowned out. And give debbie Gibson a mic she can use.

Laddies of the 80's was a hot mess

by LaLaD2222 on 10/21/18Allen Event Center - Allen

I liked the venue of the Allen Event Center, that was fine. Easy parking and access to great views regardless of seating. The show... seemed like sound was an issue for all 3 performers. Tiffany, Lisa Lisa and Debbie Gibson. Tiffany has a great voice - she was dependent on using Lisa Lisa's band for whatever reason so kudos to them for even learning her songs. She was professional but I'm sure it was a different vibe for her and some of her songs were to different tempos so not as fun for the crowd Lisa Lisa did fine - she didn't seem confident but her voice held up. Debbie.. seemed to take forever for her to get onstage. That could have been a set up change problem. Her microphone didn't work when she first came out and throughout the show was an issue. It was just a very odd set. She changed 3 times for what seemed really unnecessary and dragged out any momentum of the show. She had one portion where she called some people who traveled from the UK to join her onstage. I couldn't even recognize the two songs she was singing and then she attempted to sing Paparazzi by Gaga and midway stopped because she didn't remember all the words. Had that been the first misstep it wouldn't have been any big deal but that was on top of other things that dampened the experience. Debbie is clearly a performer and it's too bad she didn't nail that song because her voice was right for it. She also saved her show by doing an 80's medley of songs - she danced and sang which clearly you have to be in shape for that and keep your lyric crisp. There just seemed to be a lot of things that went wrong or got time delayed and made it a much later night than necessary. The overall experience was meh. I have never been to quite an event such as this that all three sets were just not that good. It could've been so beautiful....but it wasn't.

    Debbie show

by ChrisL1969 on 10/21/18Allen Event Center - Allen

Show was really nice but Debbie took a little too long to come out for her set, I wish she would have had background singers and sung more songs non acoustic, but overall I had a good time and would love to see her perform again. She still can bring it vocally, she has been a favorite for years...

Sound system problem. What happened to Tiffney? Debbie called everyone out to stage for final number and she could not be found.

    Tiffany Rocks!!!

by Jello76 on 9/14/17Deep Water Amphitheater - Manson

I think I was 10 when Tiffany was popular. She put on a great performance, with a band, and lots of great music even from the Janis Joplin era. Even my Metallica loving husband said he enjoyed Tiffany. Debbie Gibson on the other hand forgot to tell her sound guy that bass came into music about 10 yrs later. The bass on her songs was so loud that I started feeling sick. It made the rest of the evening unenjoyable. When I went to go back to my seat, most of the people had left. Debbie didn't have any new music and literally asked within 2-3 songs if there were any requests. The venue was great and outdoors.

As a girl of the 80's I was OBSESSED with Debbie Gibson! I felt like my teenage dreams came true! She is a great entertainer! I wish she would've done more of her songs though. Tiffany was great too, but I didn't know as many of her songs.

Debbie Gibson and Tiffany were GREAT

by Foss4218 on 9/12/17Deep Water Amphitheater - Manson

Debbie Gibson, Tiffany and Downtown Julie Brown were GREAT !! It was as if they didn't miss a beat from the 80's. Tiffany really surprised me, she sounded fantastic. Debbie Gibson looks better than ever and I wish her the best on Dancing with the Stars !! I am so glad they came to Washington. Manson, WA was quite a drive but worth every mile !! I would go see them again anytime.

    Noise level ruined experience

by ABCNYC78 on 3/7/16Mizner Park Amphitheater - Boca Raton

The only thing that keeps me from stating that the concert was enjoyable was the noise level of the music. It was extremely loud. I would be surprised if no one else had a similar complaint.

    It was OK

by Xenaless on 3/1/16Mizner Park Amphitheater - Boca Raton

The sound was completely off and we couldn't hear the words being sung by the performers. The bass was at an extreme level that it really distorted the music. I had not been to Mizner Park before so I didn't know that you had to buy a seat and that you couldn't bring a chair in.

    Reunion

by Augustiner on 3/1/16Mizner Park Amphitheater - Boca Raton

My wife and I had a great time. We would drive down from Orlando again for any event that was as fun as this one. It was a blast. The bands were all fun. Modern English had a cold but we dealt with it...

    Information Society was the highlight

by carolgeekfl on 2/29/16Mizner Park Amphitheater - Boca Raton

great line up of 80's headliners. loved DJ Johnny Quest who hosted the event and kept the crowd on their feet. biggest disappointment was the venue. the sound was turned up so loud that at some points you couldn't make out the music it just turned into a big buzz. as a matter of fact 2 days later my ears are still ringing. between the poor sound quality and the port o potty for bathrooms, I'd say this is my least favorite venue. the staff, performers and crowd were all good. just wish the amphitheater handled sound better.

    Flashback to my youth

by DanC71 on 2/29/16Mizner Park Amphitheater - Boca Raton

This was a great experience, front row, center stage just couldn't be beat. I truly felt like I was back in high school reliving some of the fondest moments of my youth. Highlights were Information Society, Flawk of Seagulls, Wang Chung, Nu Shoos and Debbi Gibson.
