Great event, but would have been better if the sound system hadn't drowned out the voices of the performers. It was difficult to understand a word they were saying. Event started at 3pm, and by the time Mandisa came out (around 6:00pm), I was ready to go, in between all the breaking down/swapping out of bands and sound checks in between each performer/band, not to mention the lengthy pleas of various non profit groups, who showed videos in between some of the acts, the event seemed to move along at a very slow pace.
Mandisa was well worth the cost of the tickets, however. Fortunately, I knew the words to her songs, so rather than try and understand what she was singing, I was able to enjoy her performance very much. She had everyone on their feet with a lot of energy and was very engaging.
Although I wanted to see Third Day, I couldn't last beyond Mandisa, due to the aforementioned issues ..... Now, I see why most people didn't even show up until 6:00pm!
