DAYA IN CONCERT:

Dance-pop prodigy Daya's girl power anthems and club-ready beats made her an overnight teen music sensation upon the release of her self-titled 2015 debut EP. Fans of her polished recordings will be equally impressed by her passionate concerts, where the blossoming pop star soulfully belts out hits like "Hide Away", "Sit Still, Look Pretty", and "Don't Let Me Down" while dancing around the stage with infectious energy. Her synth melodies and electronic rhythms are sure to please anyone looking to cut a rug, but it's her poignant lyrics and uplifting bent that truly connect with fans. Daya delivers an empowering message to ticket buyers and packs her powerhouse live performances with tunes that are both thoughtful and catchy.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Grace Tandon (aka Daya) started taking piano lessons at the age of three and hasn't looked back since. By 2009, the prodigious young musician was enrolled at Accelerando Music Conservatory, Pittsburgh, where she soon impressed owner Christina Chirumbolo and lecturer Gino Barletta. The two brought the budding singer-songwriter to Los Angeles at the tender age of 16 to work on her material. The sessions produced her 2015 debut single "Hide Away", which generated considerable buzz thanks to rave reviews from bloggers Tyler Oakley and Perez Hilton. Her self-titled debut EP followed shortly thereafter and the singer grew her audience even further by touring with pop-rappers Jack & Jack. Daya's rise continued when The Chainsmokers featured her on their song "Don't Let Me Down", which topped the US Dance/Electronic Songs Chart in 2016. She even joined the dance music duo at that year's Coachella Festival to sing the hit for a packed crowd. While fans eagerly await new recorded material, Daya is still wowing fans everywhere she goes with her empowering anthems and slick productions.

Daya is a Fantastic role model for young girls!

Daya and her band are energetic, fun and play high quality music. The best part is my 12 year old daughter likes her and she had no wardrobe malfunctions, never used inappropriate language and was so positive! Hard to believe a young artist can be so appropriate and popular!! Love her!!

The venue was phenomenal. Quaint space which felt intimate but exciting. Daya blasted out her classic hits and kept the audience jiving with her. She could've done more of her own material, but still it was a great concert.

Took a group of 13 yo girls and was impressed. We enjoyed the opening act as well as Daya. The venue was fun and felt like a safe place to have younger girls. Very pleased with the evening!

    Daya didn't "Let Me Down"!

by JEVT on 2/22/17Paradise Rock Club - Boston

Bad pun - but true. Daya came to deliver and she was over-the-top amazing. She and her talented all-female band went so big every song would have won a Grammy. And of course - her voice! Its a ride of its own and its for real. In between, she told authentic, engaging personal stories and encouraged everyone to believe in themselves, work hard and reach for your dreams. She was also having as much fun as the crowd. DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW!!!
