As a comedian, David Steinberg, whom The New York Times has called “a cross between Woody Allen and Lenny Bruce” and “a comic institution all by himself...” is second only to Bob Hope in guest appearances on Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show.

As a director, David Steinberg has executive produced and directed many episodes of Designing Women, Friends, Newhart, Seinfeld, Mad About You and the hit series Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Currently, Steinberg has teamed with Steve Carell as Executive Producer and star of Inside Comedy, a comedy documentary series on Showtime, going into the third season in 2014.
