David Spade on Tour

David Spade is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, talk show host, and television personality with razor-sharp sarcasm that will leave you in stitches. He's best known for his performances on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) and hilariously endearing role in Joe Dirt (2001) -- a film he both starred in and co-wrote. Other box office hits from Spade's film career include popular titles like Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003), The Benchwarmers (2006), Grown Ups (2010), Grown Ups 2 (2013), and The Do Over (2016). In 2020, he was a People's Choice Award nominee for Favorite Comedy Movie Star in the film The Wrong Missy (2020). On the small screen, Spade received one Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations for his work playing the wise-cracking assistant, Dennis Finch, in the American sitcom "Just Shoot Me!" He also starred in the beloved CBS comedy "Rules of Engagement," joined the cast of "8 Simple Rules," co-wrote the screenplay and performed voiceovers on MTV's "Beavis and Butt-Head," and hosted "The Showbiz Show with David Spade." Later, he became the host of Comedy Central's "Lights out with David Spade." Over the years, Spade has entertained viewers with his self-deprecating humor and outrageous wit as the host of the Teen Choice Awards and the Spike Video Game Awards, and made guest appearances on sitcoms like "The Goldbergs" and reality TV programs such as "Bachelor in Paradise." Now, you can enjoy a no-holds-barred night of laughter with tickets to David Spade live on tour as he returns to the slapstick stand-up comedy that first made him famous.

David Spade Live

A natural prankster born on July 2, 1964, Arizona native David Spade started doing stand-up while he was young with his family and friends urging him onto the stages of bars, theaters and campuses across the country. He performed in Arizona State's long-running sketch comedy show multiple times, where he attended school as a fraternity member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He also got experience delivering laughs at Greasy Tony's Pizza during the Monday night comedy shows in the mid-'80s. In 1990, Spade took his comedy career to the next level when he joined the crew of "Saturday Night Live" -- first as a writer, then quickly making his way up to cast member. Shortly after his television debut on SNL, Rolling Stone dubbed him "Hot Stand-Up Comedian of the Year." Over the next five years, Spade would become a household favorite, well-known and loved for his comedic persona. He built his unique brand of sarcasm through skits like "Hollywood Minute" and "Total Bastard Airline" until eventually leaving the cast in 1996. His venture into film and television thereafter was immediately successful, earning himself a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by 2003.

    David Spade - Great Show

by Anonymous on 9/6/11The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino - Las Vegas

This was our second time seeing David Spade and we were treated to great show each time! I love his dead pan humor it's always enjoyable. Kevin Farley (Chris's brother) and Todd Glass opened both great! Would definitely see David again!

David Spade forgot his lines, looked horrible & seemed like he was going through the motions. Ticket was way overpriced for the caliber of the show. Not Jo to Vegas standards.

Should stick to tv and movies not standup

by Justinvegas on 3/20/11The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino - Las Vegas

Over priced. Did not connect with the audience. Better on tv and movies

    Save your $$!

by DGTU on 12/5/10Venetian Hotel and Casino - Las Vegas

Absolutely the worst comedy show I've seen. Spade's two warm up comedians were better than he was by far. I don't recall one time the audience was laughing more than a soft laugh for Spade's entire show. He also kept checking his watch, seemed to forget jokes halfway through telling them, and looked like he would have rather been anywhere else but on stage. He even stated that the only reason he was there was that his 'handlers' had booked this for him. For my $175 per ticket for VIP seats, that's not what I needed to hear.

David Spade was funny but didn't connect with the audience. He was in and out. The show didn't last very long so we really didn't get our money's worth.

David Spade is fun to see in person.

    by itsmejb65 on 5/22/10Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

The two openers were pretty good. David was better. The show came to an abrupt end, no encore. Could have lasted another 15-20 minutes in my opinion, but it was entertaining.

All three comedians were hilarious! Of course, we did lots of laughing, even more than expected. We also love the venue.

    ENJOYABLE - YES; GREAT...NO!

by DRDRJAY on 5/6/10Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

I really thought the second commedian was a better show. David Spade wandered the stage not always speaking to his mic; consequently we had no idea what others were laughing about!

Great comics, horrible sound at NBC Concert Hall

by Genette on 5/2/10Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

I enjoyed both opening acts and David Spade. However the sound was real poor for David Spade as if his mic was going in and out. We figured he had to hold it up so close and at just the right angle for the sound to pick up. Fortunately we were in the 4th row but felt sorry for anybody behind us because if we had a hard time hearing, what about the people in the balcony?

by triggerandjessika on 4/30/10Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

Pretty good, but sound was terrible. thought after the first act, the concert hall would have turned up the sound and adjusted it accordingly. could not hear very well and many of us missed much of what was said. but spade was cool. funny. laid back. did a very good job.

    Spade at the Blaisdell

by lavaman98 on 4/30/10Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

Opening comedian Todd, had high energy and was funny. David is really funny, however he seemed like he was tired and at times was hard to hear. David did not utilize his mic consistently which made it hard to hear.

    Extremely Funny!

by BlueHawaii on 4/30/10Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

David Spade was hillarious. There were some sound issues and there was a weird spread out in the auditorioum with lots of empty seats but the performance was great! He would have been better in a smaller venue though.
