David Nihill is a genius, both intellectually and comedically. I never expected to get history lessons while laughing my head off.

I really enjoyed David Nihill’s show from start to finish and crossed my fingers for an encore. He had the audience in the palm of his hand weaving a tale around a story within a joke. Really really clever and witty. This is my second time seeing him and I’m looking forward to his next show. Highly recommend!

This was my second opportunity to see David in person and I was not disappointed. David has a casual, conversational style that is adorable and easy to listen to. His humor centers around his own life experiences and his unique interpretation of the world around him. The Shelf Help Tour displayed a very well-read characteristic of David that was a little surprising. I especially admire that David doesn't have to resort to vulgar language to be perfectly entertaining to a wide audience.

Hilarious Storyteller. Funny and intelligent And multilingual

I was tired that day and was contemplating not going since I do not live in the city. I was gifted these tickets and not heard of David. The venue was comfortable without a crowded feel and we sat on the Deck. The opening acts were great, which sometimes may not be, and we were ready for the late show. David's knowledge of books with comedy was fascinating and I did not stop laughing or smiling for the entire hour and a half. I would definitely see him again, as well as the openers, and plan to follow him on social media.

He isn’t just a master of the turn of the phrase. He is a bloody genius. Intelligent comedy is so hard to find. He is it.

What a GREAT SHOW. A wounderfull story teller. He has a smart wit that draws you in. It felt good to truly laugh out loud. Its in our genes. Can't wait for his return to Seattle.

I had seen some of David's comedy clips online and thought he delivered great stories and humor but I didn't know what to expect for an entire standup routine. It was great and a different format of comedy than I had experienced in the past. He turned out to be an engaging storyteller who delivered humor the whole way, plus I even learned a thing or two and came away with some new books I'd like to read from his Shelf Help tour. I'm glad I brought some friends who had never even heard of him and they also had a blast.

David's show was superb. Brutally honest, full of wisdom and clever jokes. He engages well with the audience.

David was funny and we loved his book recommendations. A good idea for a show. We just wish the Neptune theatre had better seating. Chairs are very close together - no real leg room - so makes for an uncomfortable show.

David Nihill is hysterical, his storytelling, his incredible life experiences, his interactions with the audience, everything made for a wonderful, laughter-filled evening. Highly recommend!

We (8 of us) all loved David's comedy. He is a smart, witty comedian that provided a great night of fun for my family and friends. He is a story comedian....not a bunch of one-liners and we loved it! Highly recommend.

A must see, this guy is a gem. Smart, super funny, a great storyteller. Love him!

David Nihill has become one of my absolute favorite comedians. His style is so relatable, told as short stories, you have the whole visual, and are rolling in your seat. He is also so quick witted while improvising with the audience throughout the show all along as well. It is non stop. For me the best part is how he takes topics that are real and normal that have been made so over sensitive and racist or political or just in some way offensive to someone, somehow and he makes them turned right back around to the truth and reality in the funny way we all should be looking at these things. He speaks with an educated mind and voice. There are a lot of real facts you will be enlightened to throughout the various stories. It's not a show filled with vulgar and crude scenarios from start to finish like so many of today's comics acts are. I have seen three of his South Florida appearances and have thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of then. I look forward to his return to a South Florida Stage again. I will definitely be in attendance.

What a fantastic show. I discovered David Nihill's reels on Facebook and shared them with my friends and family. When we had the opportunity to see him Seattle we jumped at the chance. The show was incredible and the special guests Jason and Bo had us laughing so hard we were in tears. Loved loved David's storytelling humor and the photos at the end of the show. Yes, we have Irish in our 23 and me so obviously some Irish man shagged their way into our family. I hope we have the opportunity to see all of the comedians again soon!
