Our seats were in section 200 at the House of Blues. These are obstructed view. You cannot see 1/4 of the stage bit there are HD monitors on the sides and behind the stage. Also, you have to put up with people cell phone videoing the performance instead of enjoying the moment. But that is not unique to this show. Some fans like to stand the entire show and others want to sit. If folks are Standing in front of you, you won’t be able to sit and see. Again, not unique to this show. If you can, book your seats in the middle of the venue if you’re in the upper decks in order to get a full view of the stage and performance.
People's are complaining that DLR’s voice was sub par and that he doesn’t have the vocal/physical stamina the he used to. The dude is 64 years old and if you’re expecting to see toe touches from the drum platform or a lot of running/stage antics, you’re going to be disappointed. If you’re expecting an icon who knows that he is past his prime, can laugh at himself and engage with the crowd, you’ll have a great time.
So glad we went to hear a great showman whose music I grew up listening to. He has surrounded himself with phenomenal Musicians. Overall, this was a fun time and we enjoyed his show.
