    David Cook & Gavin Degraw

by VeryDisappointedFan9999 on 11/17/11Verizon Theatre At Grand Prairie - Grand Prairie

David Cook’s vocals were like he was screaming out the lyrics due to the loudness of the band. He was also a little too obnoxious in his comments in between songs. I won't go to another concert of his. I was disappointed with the time (approx. 1 hour) Gavin was on stage. He seemed like every song was back to back without a break. It was like he had somewhere else to go and wanted to finish in a hurry. I've been to several of his concerts before. I won't purchase another concert ticket in the future. It's really sad due to the fact I am a big fan of Gavins and have enjoyed him in other venues.

    David Cook was fantastic!!

by Soushi on 11/14/11Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

We only wanted to see David Cook and believe me, we were not disappointed in his performance!!! I have loved him since he sang "Billie Jean" on American idol. i always hated that song until he put his personal spin on it. I figured if he could make me actually like that song, then he was ok. Anyway, he pleased the crowd with his own songs plus of few of others. He still is GREAT!

    David Cook was AMAZING!!!!!

by cevilsizor on 11/10/11Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

I have to admit I really had little interest in Carolina Liar, but they rocked out pretty good. I also was very unfamiliar with Gavin DeGraw, just not my genre. David Cook was over the top. His voice was so beautiful & strong. He sang a combination of his first record & the new one, This Loud Morning. He interacted with the audience with his usual charm & humor. (Not my first concert of his). The cover of Muse' Stockholm Syndrome was such a hot rock up song. He had the whole place rocking. But, when he sang his current single, Fade into Me, with just his acoustic guitar & unplugged (no sound system), he had the entire theatre in the palm of his hand!!!!! That performance was stunning, amazing, incredible; showed why he won American Idol. I would recommend anyone who loves rock/pop music to attend one of Cook's concerts. He is one magnificent artist & entertainer.

    Gavin who?

by SDORB on 11/10/11Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

David Cook was incredible and gets 5 stars. Gavin DeGraw took over 45 minutes to come on stage so we decided to leave (along with 100s of others) before the show even started.

    by thebigcheese5050 on 11/9/11Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

The Taft Theater looked amazing but more importantly the artists who preformed were just that. They are absolute artists. They know how to put on a show and show everyone a good time. Their art from was a thing of beauty.

David Cook was great! Gavin had sound issues:(

    by CL2011 on 11/9/11Winston-Salem Entertainment Sports Complex - Winston-Salem

David Cook was great live. He sang for more than an hour. Liked the whole show. We also saw Gavin Degraw after David. He had problems with his sound system. He sounded like he was mumbling. We left three songs into his show. It was too bad because I'm sure he would have been great too if they had gotten his sound right.

Great night from David Cook and Gavin Degraw

by patyac on 11/9/11Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

Monday night in Cincinnati was a special treat. David Cook sang his new single Fade Into Me with no microphone. Just stepped back and played acoustic and sang to the place. It was beautiful. Gavin departed from his usual song set and did Let's Get It On. Another stellar concert from two of my favorite performers. This was my fourth time to see them on this tour, and this was the best one yet.

So enjoyed David Cook's concert at the Taft Theatre in Cincinnati on November 7. I live in Philadelphia, but his show is definitely worth travelling to see. Amazing voice, terrific songs, great music, fun time. Just learned that he will be at the Keswick in Philly. . .and, yes, I will be there!

    It was ok...and here's why

by ILUVDAVID on 11/9/11Verizon Theatre At Grand Prairie - Grand Prairie

Went to see David Cook. Have seen him one other time. Wish he would have been the only headliner as the set list would have been longer. Seats were pretty good, could clearly see all the bands. Sound was okay. Just wish David's time on stage was longer and that he would have played more of his new album and less of his old.

David Cook at the Taft Theatre

by Ellenjs on 11/9/11Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

Caroling Liar was great, they were available at the merch table after their part of the show. A nice bunch of guus. We bought their CD. David Cook was unbelievable!!! Best show I have ever seen. The acapella "Fade Into Me" showed off his powerful voice. Loved that he started and ended the show with the first and last songs on his newest album. I can't say enough what a great show he puts on.

    Not the best

    by MJSx2 on 11/9/11Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

My main complaint is the lights used during David Cook's performance were literally blinding they were so bright. We couldn't even look at the stage and watch the performers for fear of facing a instantaneous flash of megawattage that burned our retinas. The only other disappointing aspect was how long it took between acts. Each time was more than a half hour, making this event last over four hours on a Monday night. Considering over an hour of this time was spent in front of a quiet empty stage, I was a little miffed.
