David Byrne Tickets

Brilliant performance by Mr. Byrne and his "marching band", who never stopped moving with intricate dancing and choreography - a total performance. Fantastic minimalist staging and lighting that was more impressive than huge laser light shows. Good mix of old and new tunes (wished more a few more TH songs though), that really highlighted DB/TH's funky, polyrhythmic grooves. The one low point however was the last encore which was a "protest" song that was unnecessarily political and just a really bad and boring chant, a real letdown after such a fine show. The Mann is a great venue, but I hate having to wear hearing protection for acts that don't need to be LOUD (note to the sound team: loud != good sound). I was also very surprised the show wasn't sold out. Looking forward to see DB again!

This show was so friggin good it was the second time I watched it on this tour. Somehow it was even more entertaining the second time through and the whole group is so incredibly talented and David’s pipes are out of this world. I’d watch it again at The Mann tomorrow if I had the opportunity.

Loved the bare feet! Excellent musicianship and great to see the motion/choreography with no fixed-place instruments. Great beginning and song selections, just could have been longer. The opening act was terrible and unnecessary given Byrne's volume of work.

I've been to many shows, this one was at the top of the top. David Byrne is a graceful genius and a fantastic mentor to artists and fans alike, putting it out no holding back. So honored he is making sense and still sharing his talent after all these years!

the show was absolutely amazing! david byrnne & his group of talented musicians were great! I love the Kings Theatre. unfortunately the people in front of us were totally disgusting. The guy & his girlfriend were doing blow & drunk & were groping each other if they weren't falling down for the whole show... a bit distracting.
