Time to retire David Allen.. I’ll leave it at that.. 🙄😞😞😞
Some may say he wasn't worth the ticket that they bought, I however would disagree. I felt that David Allan Coe's story telling around the songs took me for a ride. Willy, Waylon, Johnny and all the other outlaws would have been proud. His opening tune about his recently deceased wife was a beautiful unexpected treat that made me want to look up his new works, and the classics made me hoarse.
DAC did his best to give his usual amazing performance for a man his age. Unfortunately, the sound was terrible and it was nearly impossible to hear him go from singing to talking. On top of that, the audience was very rude, loud, and disrespectful. The venue should have done something about it and at least sent their staff around to quiet down the people being disruptive. I know DAC's wife was getting angry and so were those of us trying to hear the man sing. Finally, the information we received via email said no large purses, but the security let in many women without even looking in their large purses.
Awesome venue with great food. He is older of course but did my heart good to see a legend. An experience I will never forget!
Fantastic venue and show. I will see DAC anytime he is in the area.
Always wanted to see DAC. Finally got to experience his show. 90 minutes of classic country.
Spectacular concert he never lets me down have seen him in concert 5 times and this was by far the best venue
Sadly, even legends reach a point of no return. DAC should retire. He cannot walk, cannot play, cannot sing. He has precisely one chord progression he can play. His vocal range is about six notes. The audience performed better than he did. It was good to see him before he retires or passes away but the entertainment value was zero. $84 down the drain. BTW - "Mrs. Coe" does not make up for the shortcomings.
It was great to see a living legend of outlaw country.
Time for one of my. Outlaw heroes to hang it up. Only sang three of his own songs. We came to hear his songs not bad covers of everyone else.
Show was supposed to begin at 6:00 and at 11:30 pm the dude still hadn't taken the stage. Complete waste of time. Don't go see this guy.
I’ve always wanted to see him. He may be up there in years but sounds the same. My friends and I had a great time, even got to shake his hand and get a picture with him and his lovely wife Kim!
David Allen Coe showed up 2 1/2 hours late and played for 1 hour. And the set was one big medley, so he never even sang an entire song. He’s clearly too old to tour. The venue is very cool and service was good but minature martinis were $19, so a real one would be $38. A new high water mark.
Show barely lasted 40 minutes. He’s just getting too old to perform
The performance was really really great! He's still sounds like himself and I enjoyed the performance very much.
I've wanted to see David Allan Coe for the past 20 years! I had to wait until he settled down a bit :) He was everything I could have dreamed!
I was very disappointed, he played a lot of non original songs. Played for only an hour and he was not even centered on stage, his wife was.
Fun night all around for seated event. The opening act Colton Chapman blew me away. Hopefully he will play a full show there soon, because I'll be attending! David Allen Coe is still rocking out despite his age.
The sound was not good. Had a hard time understanding what he was singing. Very disappointed that he only sang a few of his songs.
Played longer than expected and sang a song from his x rated album which he never does. Got to meet him after the show
