Dave Koz Christmas Tickets

I always enjoy the David Koz Christmas concert and this year’s at the Magnolia in El Cajon did not disappoint. However, I did take exception to Jonathan Butler’s rendition of “Oh Holy Night”. It was far too religious for what should be considered a secular program. It really bothered me when audience members began holding up their hands an shouting “amen” as if we were in church. I would appreciate him refraining from such performances in the future. I would prefer not being proselytized when attending a concert at a public venue. Otherwise, it was a great concert!

I was a bit dissapointed with the Magnolia theatre. It was difficult to hear vocals as they were overpowered by the instruments. Also, the air in the theatre seemed to be a bit foggy and made the viewing of the artists not pleasurable.

Talent and music excellent. Lighting was over done to the point of being distracting Drummer overpowered some of the music some of the music overpowered some of the vocals and even at times overpowered The sax $19 per ticket is gouging, making the final price/ experience less of a value. Purchased as a special present for a special person. Would not spend this much for any of the concerts scheduled ahead.

Was AWESOME from start to finish!!! Beautiful NEW venue. REALLY enjoyed seeing Melissa Manchester. The voice of Chris Walker was incredible on “Mary did You know.” And Dave is ALWAYS so personable, energetic & and makes the show fun & entertaining to watch.

Dave and his "brother by another mother" Jonathan Butler, create a joyous entertainment experience every year! I look forward to these happy shows. Jonathan had a broken foot this year, but he prevailed with a light- wrapped walking cane and lots of support from the crew. The crew are interesting too! You get to know them, year after year. They have christmas hats and vests that draw you in. Dave includes interesting and nostalgic guests who engage with him musically on stage. Its always a feel-good experience. This year was no exception. Melissa Manchester came this year, but I've gotten to see Mindy Abair and Christopher Cross this way. At the end, the team gets the audience involved singing and celebrating with them and you experience Christmas and Chanakuh as it should be. It seems like more than half the audience are repeat customers. I look forward to hearing Jonathen Butler do a spine tingling Christmas carol like O Holy Night or The Little Drummer Boy that just leaves you in tears...its so spiritual and magical!

Outstanding concert. Dave was flamboyant and Melissa Manchester was great. All of the ‘Friends’ were great! Thoroughly enjoyed concert and venue.

We loved the Dave Koz holiday program. It was fast moving, filled with terrific music and memorable!! We loved every performer and will go again in 2020!

I’ve seen Dave Koz’s Christmas programs over the years and I say this was the best ever. He keeps getting better. Had a wonderful time looking forward to next year. I am pleased Jazz is finding its way back to East County.

We enjoyed the Dave Koz Christmas show and his very talented guests.

The talent Dave Koz brings coupled with his backup musicians make for an evening of high caliber musicianship that’s difficult to compare. We would have liked to have heard more of Chris Walker. The choreography of support staff, i.e., stool placements, exchanging of saxes, guitars, makes for smooth transitions and a seamless presentation. Wow. Dave Koz and friends are superb musicians but without the exceptional musicians as backup they would not glitter as they do. Thank you again for a memorable evening of Xmas music and musicianship.

This high energy show was fantastic, just like all of the other ones we have been to. My husband and I have made this show a yearly tradition. The music is always wonderful!

I've been attending the Christmas concert tour for the last 10 years and I have to say that this year (2019) has topped all of the previous years by far. What a wonderful experience!!! I can't wait to see what is in store for us next year. Thank you very much Dave Koz!!

Always Amazing! The line up changes year to year, but the feeling of launching the season never does! Love the show, and looking forward to the next 20-years!

I was feeling down when I got there, but I felt great when I left. I liked the whole show and the variety of genres. The gospel music was excellent and integrating different cultures was nice. A very enjoyable evening. I will be there next year. I liked the animation too. I felt like I knew you when I saw you on Wendy Williams.

I've been attending Koz's Christmas concerts in Columubs for several years. Always look forward to him and Jonathan Butler and every special guest that has come through is top-notch talent. This year's concert with guest Chris Walker was especially great. I had not heard of him before, but will looking forward to listening for more music from him. I also enjoy Koz's band. This is first rate entertainment in Columbus, and I always tell friends...if you like smooth jazz, buy some tickets and experience Dave Koz Christmas Show.

I believe this was one of the best Dave Koz Christmas shows I have seen. I have been going to this show for about nine years straight now. The sound quality was very good, and the laser lights were great. I give the show an A+. I wll go again next Year

We come as a family of 7 and it gets us into the spirit every year. Guest artists always fabulous. Melissa Manchester was like a friend from my youth.

I looks forward to seeing Dave Koz twice a year every year - summer tour & holiday tour. Dave never disappoints & Jonathan Butler ...WOW! There is no one better than JB ! I do believe the talent level & show was better in 2018 but this year was still amazing. The only disappointment was Melissa Manchester. Looking forward to seeing Dave & Friends in 2020, especially Jonathan Butler.
