In its 2013 poll, DJ Mag named Dash Berlin the No. 10 DJ in the world. It’s his fourth year on the list, owing both to his stellar production in the studio, with songs featuring emotionally powerful melodies that transcend the barriers between progressive and trance, and his amazing energy in live performance. Dash Berlin concerts are intense experiences, often clocking in at over three hours of spectacular build-ups, heavy bass lines and swooping synth melodies. He's a magnetic, dynamic presence on stage, always working to get his audience psyched up. He adds a live element as well, touring with singers like Emma Hewitt and Jonathan Mendelsohn, whose uplifting lyrics were featured on Dash Berlin’s most recent smash hit, 2013's “Steal You Away,” one of 11 singles from his album #musicislife #deluxe.
Many people think of Dash Berlin as the stage name of Dutch DJ and producer Jeffrey Sutorius, but Dash only came into existence in 2007, after Sutorius met Eelke Kalberg and Sebastiaan Molijn, the Dutch production duo who helped found the trance movement, working behind-the-scenes with artists like Vengaboys, Candee Jay, and Alice Deejay. With Kalberg and Molijn behind him, Dash Berlin debuted in 2007, when “Till the Sky Falls Down” rocketed to the top of trance charts worldwide. Two years later, he won an International Dance Music Award for Best High Energy Track for "Waiting," and has been nominated for the award every year since as well. His 2012 album #musicislife included award-winning singles like “Better Half Of Me” and “Go It Alone,” and the 2013 #deluxe edition gave us “Steal You Away” and “Jar Of Hearts.” With a series of hits and an electric live show, Dash Berlin continues to be one of the hottest tickets in trance music.

by EDMlovr on 12/23/13Golden Nugget - Atlantic CityThis was my third time seeing Dash Berlin this year. Once in NYC, twice in AC. Dash Berlin performance sucked. It seems like he plays the same music in all of his sets. I understand his tracks are mandatory but playing tracks like durude "sandstorm" or kernkraft "Zombie Nation" during all you sets sucks. It literally was the same set three times. Ugh. Won't see him again.

His beats and music lifts u up... And i feel soo much love around me.. Me and my hubby has been to most of his concerts already, and we still love it, he has his own style in every event. Over all, had the best night ever for my birthday!! Thank u Dash!!!.... and club Haven!

The opener, Tyler Sherritt, was amazing as well. Danced all night from 9:00 - 3:30AM. Loved the venue and the length he played. Definitely would go see him again, and would see a DJ at this venue. The only recommendation I have is that if you are 21+, definitely watch from the bar area. I was with my brother who is underage, so we were in the GA area, which was mostly young young kids. But overall amazing show and amazing experience.

by DashFan4Life on 4/29/13Echostage - WashingtonGot to the venue at 7:30 when the event started at 9:00pm. WAY too early. Lined up at 8:40 and still managed to be first in line. Venue didn't start packing until midnight and the opening dj's were pretty lame (imagine a kickdrum for roughly 4 hours...). Water bottles are $5 inside so try to bring your own if you can. Dash didn't start till 1am (I heard other main Dj's appear usually at midnight or 1). When he did though, he did not disappoint. Almost every song in his 3 hour set was a pleasure to hear. Metro doesn't run from 3-5am so either take a taxi home, drive yourself down ($20 parking), or wait till metro to reopen.

by Marlzzz on 4/29/13Echostage - WashingtonDash Berlin was an amazing concert. It felt like we were in an exotic club in Europe. The stage effects were incredible and pumped everyone up. Dash was also extremely interactive with the crowd and I was so excited when he high fived me. Luckily I got to stand right in front of the stage :) I wish he had come out sooner than 1 am though because I had been dancing to the djs before him and was pretty tired by the time he got on stage.
