  • Excellent concert!

by Jerseygirl on 5/22/22The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent concert! Great venue but the bartenders need to not have a full-on loud conversation while everyone is trying to enjoy the concert!

  • Great concert. Great venue.

    by A. M. on 12/8/21Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

There are no bad seats at the Birchmere and it is perfect venue for listening to folk music. I didn't know much about Dar Williams before going but thoroughly enjoyed the concert. She has a great voice, wonderful band, really connected with the audience and her set list was varied and interesting.

  • Dar Williams and Emily Robinson

by Kj on 12/8/21Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

Love the Birchmere and being part of it's history. GA was easy , we got there about 2 hours before show time and found excellent seating 1.5 before opening act, I bet every seat in the house is excellent. The food and drink service was outstanding. The whole experience was a wonderful treat.

  • Great show

by Mike on 12/30/19The Cabot - BeverlyRating: 5 out of 5

First show of the tour and it sounded great. Heather the warm up act was great. Dar was fantastic as always. The only downside was someone brought a baby to the show which was very distracting for everyone around

  • Great singer

by BobNahant on 12/30/19The Cabot - BeverlyRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best singer songwriters of the contemporary folk scene. Great storytelling with Song

  • One of the best performers out there

by Flossie on 3/18/19Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Dar Williams live is as beautiful and heartfelt as her music. I would go to her show every weekend if it was an option.

  • Another amazing performance

Thank you so much, Dar, for another wonderful evening of your storytelling.

  • Dar was Great - Sit in the Middle

by Yevaud on 2/21/18Delmar Hall - Saint LouisRating: 4 out of 5

You really have to be sitting in the center of the room for good sound when a sing/songwriter like Dar plays. I talked to several friends who sat in different places. Center front and sides were so boomy we couldn’t hear the words. Those who sat in the middle of the room and right in front of the sound booth said that the sound was off at first, but was fine later.

  • Good Show, Great Venue

    by JeffS61 on 2/21/18Delmar Hall - Saint LouisRating: 4 out of 5

First time at The Delmar Hall and really enjoyed it. Very intimate setting which is great to see an artist like Dar Williams. Concert was good, Dar was very entertaining and her songwriting is absolutely beautiful. Great evening!

  • Dar Williams is amazing

by LadyDeathstrike on 12/18/16Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

Dar is not only a brilliant singer-songwriter, but has a great sense of humor and rapport with the audience as well. Both her albums and her performances are not to be missed!

great performance, nice atmosphere and affordable,

  • by Anonymous on 10/21/13Somerville Theatre - SomervilleRating: 5 out of 5

Dar is an exceptional musician, lyricist and story teller. I have seen her several times, but what made this concert so special is I went with my 23 year old son who also loves her music.

  • We love Dar

by Wellfleet on 10/21/13Somerville Theatre - SomervilleRating: 5 out of 5

Wonderful interaction with the audience and story telling combined with songs we treasure

  • Far is amazing

by GamerKitten on 9/25/13Duck Room at Blueberry Hill - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent song mix. Not a big fan of the Duck Room because of distracting sounds, like water running through pipes in the ceiling,

  • I LOVE DAR!

by Anonymous on 10/15/12Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 4 out of 5

Dar Williams was amazing! However, she was not given enough stage time!! I was quite disappointed with how very short the show was! She only played for about an hour! But in the hour she did perform, she was WONDERFUL!! I love her!!

  • by Anonymous on 9/20/12Somerville Theatre - SomervilleRating: 4 out of 5

Dar was in very fine voice and form. Witty and generous and wise as ever in her on-stage talk, and her voice was lush and lilting. Very fine accompanying musicians - keyboardist and electric guitarist. The material from this latest album really blooms live. Dar is just one of my absolute favorites. Had never seen Jill Sobule, the opening act, perform, and I really liked her. The venue - Somerville Theater - is great: good acoustics, friendly atmosphere, nice size, decent selection of beers on tap. We sat in the balcony, and I had to either lean forward or to the side to see the performers.

  • Dar was Dar (which is good)

Had a good time. Enjoyable banter. Wonderful songs. I teared up more than once.
