  • Awesome #Solowood

Danny Wood Live at Mercury Lounge in New York, Wow what a night. The venue was very intimate, a little cool, but that soon changed once Danny stepped onto the stage. Just Danny & his guitar, with fabulous rawness of stripped bare tracks from his new album 'Look At Me' which is aid of Remember Betty (breast Cancer) He performed most of the tracks from the album with a small interlude where he gets a few fans on stage to sing NKOTB hit 'The Right Stuff' followed by his own rendition of 'I'll Be Loving you Forever' he also obliged us ladies to a verse of 'Valentine Girl' He encouraged questions from the audience throughout the evening which caused some hilarious moments both through the questions & the answers. It was great to see him sharing his awesome sense of humour. All the tracks were performed from the heart, filling the evening with a rollercoaster of emotions from both Danny & the audience. It was an awesome evening with an amazing artist. Well worth the trip from the UK.

Beautiful songs. Beautiful lyrics. Deep meaning. Intimate setting. Interactive with audience. Sweet as pie. Endearing personality. Wore his heart on his sleeve. Special surprise guests (Sr. & Jon). Generous to fans. Mad us laugh. Made us cry. Family oriented. Audience felt personally involved. Amazing experience. Important for Breast Cancer awareness.

  • Great job on solo show!

So I was one of 3 dudes in the entire audience (dedicated husband hooking up wife that is a NKOTB super-fan!) and was somewhat skeptical at first re: solo show by someone from "boy band". Ended up being quite impressed with his one-man show....great music and signing and was genuinely sincere about putting on a great show for his fans. Great job with onstage banter as well...in between songs was fielding everything from serious questions to goofy drunken remarks...quick wit and great sense of humor! Did an outstanding job in this intimate venue!
