  • Spectacular Show/Experience

by Moplax on 3/25/24Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Professional, skilled, fun dancers, funny, entertaining. Would definitely see it again and again!

  • Pretty so-so performance

by mcnoble on 3/25/24Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las VegasRating: 3 out of 5

Venue at the Pearl at the Palms is not very comfortable. REALLY tiny seats. sightlines ok, but seats BAD! This event was disappointing because there were no real "stars"dancing. The winners from the last program last fall weren't even there! We got the silly Australian guy who never really learned to dance through that season. Rest of the ensemble was pros who knew their business, and did dance well. But really the same thing over and over, which made it boring after the first hour. Wouldn't go again unless I'm sure some of the "amateurs"are going to participate.

  • Fantastic Show

by Tami K on 3/25/24Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

I loved seeing the show I enjoy come to life right before my eyes with the same pro dancers that were on this season Harry provided a fun addition to the show and they all worked so hard to make the show amazing!

  • Good but could have been better

by DanceFan on 3/25/24Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

I am a fan of the show and the dancing delivered. The dancers were great and fun to watch. However, the lighting could have been better. The stage was too dark and the dancers were not highlighted while they were dancing. You can barely see them. The screens on the side should have magnified the dancers and the stage so there is a difference btwn seeing them on stage as opposed to the screens.

  • Dancing great

by Mbduo on 3/25/24Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

The dancing was great but the lighting was terrible. The lighting was too dark on stage for most of the show.

  • Underwhelmed

by Julie on 3/24/24Rating: 2 out of 5

It was great to see Harry. But I was disappointed to not see Val and the rest of the crew especially Julianne Hough and Derek Hough. Very pricey for a limited show. I enjoyed it but expected more. Also, I would recommend to get as close as possible because it’s hard to see you might as well watch it at home on your screen.

  • Audience

by Mary on 3/21/24Tahoe Blue Event Center - StatelineRating: 4 out of 5

Stage to high for sports arena type floor / sound too loud but words hard to hear Dancing was great

  • Great dancing but false advertising & purse hassle

by QQ on 3/21/24Tahoe Blue Event Center - StatelineRating: 2 out of 5

The draw for us was 'as advertised' Julianne Hough would be there so we bought tickets. I guess she did not honor this commitment and was a no-show. I thought I read she had conflicts and would not being doing these shows that she committed to...what, offered more money elsewhere. This is blatant false advertising to draw people in without any refunds or other consequences. Add to that the absurd hassle my wife had with her very small purse at the door, which was perhaps 6 square inches too big, so 'catch this logic'....they made her take everything out of her purse ....put it into her pockets and leave the small now 'empty purse' at the front. On what planet does that make sense? Keep the false advertising and hassling the public and we will 'stop' going to these pricey events.

  • Ordinary Production

by TimS on 3/20/24San Jose Civic - San JoseRating: 3 out of 5

Dancing With The Stars made the production more of a musical play rather than show casting professional dance. They needed to hire a professional sound engineer for the production, sounds quality was terrible. Plenty of bass but no other clarity. Harry was part of the play, more of a joke than a dancer. Emma and Harry's accent was so heavy, they spoke way to fast to understand what was being said. Having only 8 dancers wasn't enough to make me return. Needs to be a lot better..

  • Show doesn't have dancing Stars.

by Olena on 3/19/24San Jose Civic - San JoseRating: 4 out of 5

Unfortunately show has been directed unsuccessfully- in the middle we've had a fool hoax for 20 minutes. There weren't any dancing stars, only professional pairs.

  • NOT VIP !

by Kathryn on 3/19/24San Jose Civic - San JoseRating: 1 out of 5

Venue problem, I'm Never never going to a show at the San Jose Civic Auditorium Venue. Saturday 3/16 VIP guests were to arrive early, suggested 3:45pm. I was prompt. We were let in got our VIP lanyard, then we all had to stand in a long line for 32 minutes. Finally let in to be able to sit, not to mention at least 12 persons had handicaps (bad knees or hips). They had a tired looking guy, not funny explaining some things, then the Mirror Ball-new preshow trivia game that was silly because even if the team got it wrong they scored anyway and there wasn't really winners. Great Con... Then another long line for 12 minutes to get a quick picture with the dancers. After that they had nothing for us except hang out for 1 hour or go outside (eat/drink) but coming back you have to wait in the line with regular awaiting guests. Now it's 5pm hungry, very thirsty, and nothing open, we are not allowed in the seating area and no seats anywhere. They said they can't open or serve us until 6pm because workers are on union contract. So we have to suffer, standing because the racks of chairs in the halls couldn't be put up for us because there wasn't a worker to do it. Some of us in our dressy outfits and heels had to relent to sitting on the stairs. Finally at 5:49p they opened for limited items: drinks, nachos, and hotdogs only. So again in a line waiting, then the supervisor looking lady and staff we standing there arguing about how the place was left from the night before while the guests in line are starving and thristy and feet hurting! I am so mad for spending $705.00 for two VIP tickets. I blame both DWTS production team and the venue for such horrific treatment! I will be posting on YELP for both with pictures as proof. I have been to many VIP shows and it includes a separate room or tent for sitting or standing, having appetizers and drinks at the minimum!

  • Dancing with the Stars live

by TN on 3/19/24San Jose Civic - San JoseRating: 2 out of 5

I used to watch dancing with the Stars. Nowadays, I watch the show occasionally. I was disappointed because the show could have been much more fun. I did love seeing the skilled dancers in beautiful dancing dresses and clothing. It was fun for a couple of minutes with the audience involvement. However, I wish these things listed below can be improved/ changed: 1/ No live music: the music was pre-recorded. The sound system was not good. It was loud and the sound was not clear. Would be much more fun with a live band. 2/ The music was mostly jazzy and slow. Nothing fun. I used to really enjoy the shows on TV with the Taylor swift theme, the Whitney Houston theme… but to my disappointment, nothing sounds familiar except for the Gangnam style song. Please pick some popular songs. 3/ no tribute to Len.

  • Be Dazzled

by Meems Casillas Refuerzo on 3/19/24San Jose Civic - San JoseRating: 5 out of 5

The DWTS pros really put on a show for the audience. I have been to 6 shows and each one is different. The production, the lighting, the DWTS pros, and interaction with the crowd is well worth the price of admission. Each time I've attended a show, there's only one intermission of about 15 minutes. This way the audience can use the bathroom, buy food or merchandise. It's one routine after another! Catch them on tour if you have never done so. It's worth it, trust me. 😊

  • Bait & switch

by NM on 3/19/24San Jose Civic - San JoseRating: 2 out of 5

Such a disappointment. This was not "Dancing with the Stars", it was Dancing with 1 Star. If they wanted to do a show to showcase the Dancers, that's one thing. But to say that some of the stars will be in the show when there was only one, is bait and switch. I will never pay money again for 1 star.

  • A great show!

by Cathy on 3/19/24San Jose Civic - San JoseRating: 5 out of 5

Another great show by the DWTS team! I saw them two years ago and while that was lots of fun, too, I preferred this year's version. I enjoyed the longer dances, and theatrical lighting. The only downside was the seating. The entire floor area of the theatre was filled with folding chairs, all at the same level, so people in the back were looking at the backs of many heads. The chairs were lined up directly one behind the other instead of staggered so we all had people directly in front of us. The woman next to me was so frustrated by not being able to see that she left at intermission. Still, it was a really fun night and I so appreciated being able to see the talented dancers in person!

  • SO FUN

by Ser on 3/19/24San Jose Civic - San JoseRating: 5 out of 5

The show was AWESOME - great engagement with the crowd. Fun and funny hosts, amazing dancing - all the emotions. loved it all. One negative - the intermission length was never announced and while out in lline for concessions there was never a warning (lowering of the lights, announcement etc) of the end to intermission and so many people missed the start of the 2nd 1/2 of the show :(

  • Fun 🤩 But Seats Could Have Been Better

by Dee on 3/19/24San Jose Civic - San JoseRating: 4 out of 5

The event was fun for the girls. However, I think the seats should have been better than folding chairs, for the amount of money we paid for the tickets.

  • Great show, horrible venue

by Big Fan on 3/19/24San Jose Civic - San JoseRating: 5 out of 5

I thought the show was really great. There were more slow dances than in previous shows, as well as more talking, but the choreography and pros more than made up for that. I watched the show at the San Jose Civic and the seating was horrible. The family in front of me, and the people two rows in front of me, blocked my view. I'd recommend that future shows be held at the Center for the Performing Arts if it comes to San Jose again. Or a venue with stadium seating. Five stars for the show. 1 star for the venue.

  • ULTRA SATISFIED

by Astair on 3/19/24San Jose Civic - San JoseRating: 5 out of 5

My wife and I have been watching Dancing With the Stars since it began. We have always been amazed how complete novices have been transformed into very good dancers by the “pros”. Watching the professionals live gives us a whole new appreciation for their talent and physicality. If you are an avid follower of the show or just someone who enjoys excellent entertainment, I would highly recommend this show.

  • It was painful!!!

by Poconel on 3/19/24San Jose Civic - San JoseRating: 1 out of 5

I was so looking forward to going to the Dancing with the Stars performance. I HATED it! The sound system was terrible. The volume was so high that the floor was constantly vibrating! The quality of the sound system was so bad that I didn’t recognize half of the music that was playing. We couldn’t understand the announcer introducing the cast. We had decent seats, but we could barely make out who of the performers was on the stage. I went with a friend who wears hearing aids, so she just turned her hearing aids down. I was tearing up tissue in an effort to plug my ears. I would have walked out after the first 5 minutes!
