  • Too freaking loud and yet not loud enough

by Cranberry on 6/26/25Fillmore Auditorium (Denver) - DenverRating: 2 out of 5

This probably just stems from my anger that Tillian is gone…..But Andrew sounded awful. After watching videos I took, that was more than just being “sick.” I truly think his lack of vocal power greatly influenced the decrease in energy from the crowd. The crowd was more hyped for the opening bands! Andrew’s mic should’ve been louder (despite his lack of talent), and Jon’s should’ve been quieter. My ears are still ringing. As a side note, I’ve seen these guys 5 times now. This show confirmed for me, that I never want to see them again. As a side note, I loved every one of the opening bands. Phenomenal choices!

  • DGD Throws the F Down

by Skye on 6/24/25Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

I've seen DGD in concert numerous times and they NEVER disappoint. The vibes are amazing, the crowd work is excellent and I always leave with half my voice. These guys are an amazing show, if you're looking for some bopping bangers with a sprinkle of screamo they are absolutely the band for you!

  • Best show I've been to

  • Absolute Cinema ✋😮🤚

by Aria on 6/16/25Coca-Cola Roxy - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

We got there towards the end of Dwellings' set and they were awesome. Belmont were enthusiastic and really really good. The whole place went nuts for The Home Team who really amped up DGD's arrival to stage. DGD were amazing and paid homage to Jonny and Travis along with the new stuff. As for the venue, we'd never been before but the look of it, the theater design with the balcony, was freaking lit. There are bars in the balcony and the angle gives you a perfect view of the stage. Light show was awesome and sound hit like a truck. Staff and Security were friendly and the kept that merch line GOING. Shoutout to the poor security guards that had to catch everyone crowdsurfing through THT and DGD's sets!

  • As Fun As They Ever Were

by ZA on 6/15/25Coca-Cola Roxy - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

If you know anything about Dance Gavin Dance, you know that they have endured some lineup changes over the roughly 20 years since their inception. The latest iteration includes the likes of Andrew Wells taking over lead vocals (after serving as more of a supporting vocal role and guitarist through recent years) and Sergio Medina as bassist (at least in a touring capacity). Mainstays and founders Jon Mess, Will Swan, and Matt Mingus make up the remaining Unclean Vocals, Lead Guitar, and Drummer positions respectively. It's clear this foundation is what keeps the Robot with or without Human Hair going. The opening acts during this tour showed out and really built the energy for DGD. Dwellings, Belmont, and The Home Team are all on their way to their own success and fit surprisingly well with a band that is seemingly a genre of its own. On to the main act though. The setlist for Dance Gavin Dance was an interesting mix of old and new. They included a track from their first EP (Whatever I Say Is Royal Ocean) dating back to 2006 as well as tracks that came out just a few weeks before the tour started. The big question mark for most about this tour and current lineup was how they would handle the lead singer change. But if you follow Andrew Wells or his other band Eidola, you would know that he is more than capable of taking over the reigns. I was still impressed to see how well he covered some of the songs originally performed/recorded by previous front man Jonny Craig. Needless to say, he absolutely crushed it and the rest of the band was as good as they have ever been. I have seen DGD several times and have witnessed all of the different lineups. This most recent show is up there among my favorites they have performed and is likely only second to the 10 Year Anniversary show at the Masquerade that included all previous front men and their respective bands at that time (Kurt Travis with A Lot Like Birds and Jonny Craig with Slaves). It is clear that Dance Gavin Dance are still going full steam ahead and look to be having as much fun as ever. I am looking forward to their new music releasing later this year and for the next time that they are in Atlanta. Thank you for continuing to create great music and perform as much as possible!

  • PHENOMENAL NIGHT

    by 80HRD on 6/12/25The Fillmore Charlotte - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

Four bands in one night in a smaller venue couldn’t have been better. Honestly had so much fun that I wouldn’t change anything.

  • Amazing experience!

by MikaylaEC on 6/11/25Coca-Cola Roxy - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

I decided to get last minute tickets to this concert and let me tell you, it was worth every penny! Everything from the bands all the way down to staff was nothing short of amazing. Security was even pretty awesome. It was only my second concert that included crowd surfing and I was amazed at the quick reactions and the catches by security. The venue was really nice and had amazing sound. I will 1000% go back to this venue to see a concert and I will definitely be going back to see any of the band performing. Dwellings, Belmont, The Home Team, and Dance Gavin Dance put on a hell of a show!

  • Terrible audio mix

by Nate on 6/11/25Jannus Live - St PetersburgRating: 2 out of 5

I’m a long time DGD fan, but the audio was mixed so poorly that you couldn’t even hear Swan’s guitars, one of the defining features of the band, if literally any other person was playing. Wound up leaving early because it just sounded like power chord rock. In contrast, one of the opening bands Dwellings was mixed much better. Every instrument was distinct.

  • I dunno… The Home Team was better

by McMusty on 6/10/25Jannus Live - St PetersburgRating: 3 out of 5

DGD just isn’t the same… not sure what else to say really

  • One of the best shows ever

by Mike on 6/4/25Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Dgd always knows how to light the place up! If you’ve never seen them live you’re missing out, from stunning guest appearances from their past singers to amazing set pieces, to insane stage performances, they’re one of my favorite bands to see live.

  • Sound issues and incorrect times

by Mads on 6/3/25Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoRating: 2 out of 5

Ended up leaving before the main band due to sound issues and according to other they waited 2 hours before they were fixed. We also couldn't find the time to doors opened until t minutes before making us miss a couple of bands. In-between set music wasn't great.

  • "I'll still say the name, it's DANCE GAVIN DANCE"

by Ghouls on 6/3/25Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Woooooow. Holy heck. I've seen a multitude of famous bands, but this venue with these artists? Cleanest sound quality, most welcoming crowd and community. Honestly, one of my favorite environments to be in of all time. I always end up in DGD's 0.01% of listeners each year, it was fated that I saw them in such a fantastic place, with some fantastic people. Experience of a lifetime, for me, truly. Seeing Kurt Travis play Uneasy Hearts Weigh The Most, never thought I'd see that in my lifetime.

  • Great, except for one thing.

by Cholewa on 6/1/25History - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I took my 17-year-old daughter to this show, because DGD is her band, not mine. I have listened to many of their recordings while driving my kid to work, and I was really blown away by their guitar work. It reminds me a bit of Tim Henson's style of playing. The show was good, but because of the (necessary) volume, much of the guitar nuance was lost. They put on a great show, though. Fantastic venue, too! Cheers to Drake, Toronto, and History!

  • Nice venue, amazing staff. DGD put on a great show.

by nitroooo on 5/28/25The Fillmore Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

I had a great experience at this venue. Entry was organized, smooth and quick. The venue was clean and sound was overall good. I applaud the security staff, they made sure the crowd was hydrated but continually passing out water. They also handled the crowd surfing and safety very well. Highly recommend
