The show was amazing. I've seen his show advertised for years but never gave it a second thought. That was a mistake. The comedians were very funny and their styles of comedy were all different. The DJ was great and really interactive with the audience. A great way to bring in the new year!!
Damon Williams and company kept me laughing from the first comedian thru the last and emerald green was great with her spoken word.
The comediennes were all funny. The only thing I didnt like was they let us go at around 11:30 and we had to find something else to do to bring in the new year

The show was great. Started on time & the flow was great. Great versatility of comedians and I just love Damon. I've watched him from the days of Outriggers til now & he puts on a great show! I've gone every year & I plan to keep going as long as I can. it's close, safe & most importantly funny funny funny!

All of the comedians were very good. Tony had me crying laughing.
I thought the show was fantastic. Damon Williams is a funny and talented comedian and a great MC. He has really come a long way and I am very proud of him as a fellow Chicagoan. All of the comedians were hilarious...Hope Flood, Honest John and Cory Miller and Tony Roberts. Cory Miller has the best impersonation of Barack Obama I have ever seen!!
I must admit that this show was shocking to me and my guest. We didn't expect this show to be as funny as it was but it never stoppped from the start. The comedians really need to be on TV more because these are GREAT comics. Damon Williams also threw a after party with all of his guests that came to the show and that was really wonderful and great to have a safe place to enjoy the new year. My wife and I as well as are guests really had a wonderful time thanks to all of the comedians that were at the show. Honest John you were great! Damon Williams has been grounded and friendly ever since I met him years ago. A great comedy show! A must see and will next year when we bring in 2011. Be there!
The comedy show and after party were wonderful and I will be going next year as well. I couldn't stop laughing the entire night.
Since I am a big fan of comedy and fequently visit Zanies in Chicago, I thought the comedy show was below average. Also, you would think that Damon Williams was the head liner. Nope, all he did was MC. This would be like going to a John White show and everyone doing comedy except for John White.
What a great show! My family and I laughed until we cried, I mean It was on going. My husband and I attened last year show, which my older son and his wife introduce us to but couldn't make it this year. However, if nothing happens, we can't wait until next year. Thank You
It was great for people 40 and over. The music and talent was very good. The hotel cost more than I thought it was worth. When we arrived to our room the hallways needed vacummed and there were women underware on the patio off our room.
This was hillarious!! Non-stop laughs from beginning to end. All of the comedians were a riot! You done know this is the place to be next New Year's Eve! Me and my husband are already planning to go next year. Price was excellect value for the time to be had.
five comedians in one night, all was funny , will check out next years show. p. s the buffet was very good also.
Definitely geared towards african americans. I'm a 30 yo white male, and my wife and I definitely had a good time. All but one of the comics were funny. This is not wholesome comedy, so if you are easily offended by sexual or racial jokes, this is not the show for you. Would consider returning next year.
Damon, it has been a long time since I have been to one of your shows (Use to sing for you at All Jokes Aside). The New Year's Event was great. Keep up the good work. See you next year or sooner. Ranita
I loved the New Years Eve Comedy Event. It was reasonably priced and even the "cheap" seats had a great view of the stage. The comedians were hysterical. I laughed myself to tears! One thing I didn't like was that we had to pick our tickets up at will call and there was a long line and some people had issues with their tickets. This made us late for the event which I REALLY didn't appreciate! Please improve the will call process for next time!

I thought it was hilarious. Hope Flood was a little too dirty for my liking though. It was also at least little too loud - I don't understand why a lot of these shows feel the need to be so loud that your ears are left hurting - how does that improve the show? If the volume was scaled to something like 85% it would have been more enjoyable. Mr. Williams seemed to serve mostly as the host, but he did offer some of his own humor (I did miss the first 10 minutes or so, though). All things considered, this was a great show for being relatively local to Portage, IN. I'd probably give it a 4.5/5 if that were an option.
