Fueled by a fervent fan base, Dalton & the Sheriffs has been many things over the past 11 years, from an acoustic act to pay the bills, to a nationally touring outfit of hired guns. But — at long last — it is finally something it has never been before: a true band. The additions of Ryan Jackson (guitars and keys), Jay Tagg (guitars), Dennis Walsh (bass), and Jake Wertman (drums) coalesced in the moments before the pandemic during a show at the legendary Paradise Rock Club in Boston on March 10, 2020. Rather than standing still during the pandemic, the band became a corporation, sold shares to their friends and released 23 new songs under the watchful ears of producer Kevin Billingslea at Halo Studio. Armed with a two albums’ worth of new material, the band has launched an aggressive touring schedule, highlighted by their headlining turn at the 5,000 capacity Leader Bank Pavilion on August 27th, 2021.
This is one of my favorite venues in Boston. The staff are always friendly, helpful and polite. The sound was incredible and we had a great time!
Lead singer from the main act wore my shirt on stage. Opening act played a great random Springsteen song. Camped out all afternoon in the South End for ticket but ticket was right up against the front rail.
It was a fun time from start to finish Dalton and the Sheriffs rocked and Ward Hayden and the outliers were fantastic
Great sound, great energy, great fan base. Definitely a band to watch in the future. All seemed like very polished musicians with a high ceiling!!
Fantastic show! Great venue and even greater performances! They had a guest come on stage and play guitar. Gordy Mcclay guy was an absolute stud! Killed it and the crowd was chanting his name. He looked like he belonged up there as part of the band. Would love To see him play with them again some Day.
My partner and I first saw Dalton and The Sheriffs when they opened for Chris Lane at Bold Point Park last year in RI. Within 5 minutes of them taking the stage, we went from not caring at all, to giving them our full attention. I couldn't stop dancing! They have such an amazing energy about them and you can tell how passionate they are about their music. I had been waiting for them to come around ever since! At Leader Bank Pavilion, the band put on a great show with a mix of their own originals and crowd pleasing covers. Have you ever seen a crowd full of country fans going wild over a Zombie cover? Amazing. The venue itself is a great size and I always love seeing shows here. Do not make the same mistake I did.... make sure you wear clothes that are appropriate for the wind, unless you want the entire audience to see the entirety of you! The only other suggestion I have, is for greater control over the audio... it was very hard to understand a lot of the dialogue the band was saying during intros, etc. Other than that, we had a great time and look forward to seeing the band again in the future!
Dalton and the Sherrif's were great. Love that band! The venue was very nice, plenty of bathrooms, a little pricey and they should let people know it's cashless. But the views and location are great!!
Band was amazing, staff was amazing at the venue, amazing venue
Thanks Scully and crew for an amazing show! They make you feel part of the family. Awesome new venue too!!
They were spot on, tight and fantastic. Scully never fails to disappoint as an entertainer and To have a band like that behind him shows that there are no limits for a Dalton and the Sheriffs!
Great band which I’ve seen many times. I really only came out just to see Tommy play. He killed it and this show was one of the best! Great venue too!
No one in Boston puts on a show like Dalton and the Sheriffs do these days, and they didn't disappoint in the brand new MGM Fenway Music Hall. Incredible atmosphere. Don't miss seeing these guys next time they put on a big show.
Scully has an amazing voice and their new single is great. I can’t wait to see how far these guys go.
Dalton never disappoints and always is a blast! MGM Music Hall at Fenway was a perfect venue!
Band was outstanding. It was a great night for a concert at the tent. The table seats were perfect to sit back relax and listen to the band.
Great show. A lot of energy from both the band & the crowd. Great way to wind down summer. My only complaint was that it seemed like it ended so fast even though they played non stop for 2 hours & not once did it seem like the show was dragging. Guess the only way to alleviate my issue is to do it again & do it often.
Just amazing. Dalton & the Sheriffs just crushed from the get-go. Hoping to see them again in another city.
great show, great venue, fantastic time, cant wait to do it again!!!
What a phenomenal way to spend a Friday Night. First of all, Leader Bank Pavilion is an exceptional venue. There's not many places I'd enjoy having to put a down payment on a Vodka Lemonade, but this place sure is one of them. Couple that with a truly outstanding performance from Dalton & The Sheriffs. Brian Scully (Lead Singer) but on a hell of a show in his patented open-toed shoes (Flip Flops), Jake "The Lion" Wertman was the king of the jungle, Jay Tagg looked hot (A welcome change from his long hair, pre-Dalton days), Ryan was a rock on guitar, Chad was and has been a KEY addition, and Dennis (Bass) showed out in a New Hat. All around exceptional performance from an even better group of people. Bravo!!!
Great music; fun times. Although I find the sound quality at house of blues not to be the best. Highly recommend seeing them if you have not had the opportunity. Saw them in Nashville and they sold out 2 shows!!!
