This was my first time attending a show at the house of blues in Chicago. My friend surprised us with VIP so we gained access to the private speakeasy bar on the fourth floor, called the Foundation Room. Jay, our bartender was so much fun and made some delicious drinks. Having the balcony access gave us the best views of the stage and the amazing LAZERS! Angelo, one of the security staff upstairs provided the best vibes and space for dancing and mingling! Thank you to all the staff, the performers, and the amazing fans that made this show so special. I’ve been a huge fan of DB for awhile now and his shows never disappoint, always a fun time!
Worth the time and energy…………………………………………………………………
Loved the concert, for electronic shows that are near or expected sellouts it doesnt make sense to back that small little venue for it. nobody has room to dance. Pillars can block view and cause areas that people dont stand and squeeze in other crowded areas. Venue staff were polite and helpful, bathroom situation for males is excellent.
The music was amazing. Unfortunately I have stomach problems and needed to throw up, which I did in a bathroom in a closed stall. The security then threw me out for being too drunk. Wouldn’t listen at all when I said I had only one drink, two hours ago. Even the owner came over and insisted I leave, laughing at the fact that I was saying alcohol has nothing to do with why I threw up. Super upsetting to be treated this way.
Madison is a great venue...the Daily Bread crowd is fam...and Lazer Shark killed it. Love supporting venues that aren't doing ridiculous "safety protocols". Be free.
Retches and Sol Good were spectacular and the most remarkable for the entire show, I am not a big fan of Ticketmaster for a number of reason but the headliner Daily Bread was great and the VJ was out of this world!!!!! I am really I may get to see a Sol Good headline show in the near future!!!!!!!
Cool new video wall at soundstage. Great sets by everyone all around. Can’t wait to go back
