Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Daddy Yankee, née Raymond Ayala, is credited with introducing reggaeton to US audiences with the international success of his 2004 album Barrio Fino. Originally popularized in Puerto Rico in the '90s, reggaeton combines elements of Jamaican dancehall, salsa, and rap, the resulting combination being encapsulated perfectly on Ayala's Latin Grammy-nominated 2004 hit "Gasolina." In 2013, Ayala released his 7th studio album King Daddy as a digital only-album, reaching the No. 1 position on iTunes on the release's first day. Preceding King Daddy was 2011's phenomenally successful Prestige, which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Latin Albums chart and earned him another Latin Grammy nomination for single "Lovumba." Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Ayala aspired to a career in professional baseball, trying out for the Seattle Mariners before a stray bullet wound forced a lengthy recovery period that allowed him to refocus on music. On the 2013 Prestige World Tour, Daddy Yankee has been keeping ticket buyers moving with his infectious reggaeton beats and high-energy live concerts. Over the course of his career, Daddy Yankee has played venues such as American Airlines Center, T-Mobile Arena, and the Kia Forum.
The best concert ever, it was amazing super fun. I’m happy I was able to buy his merchandise a got a T-shirt, poster, small postcard autographed & a mini microphone. I’m super happy I went to his last concert, I totally had a blast with my best friend. All the staff were very nice, attentive.
This is my second concert of his this tour and it was amazing. Bringing Marc Anthony was the best. Daddy yankee is the goat.

Everything organized, it was my first concert and I’m honestly amazed by all the details and preparation of all the people that made that concert work, the euphoria you get through the show is amazing, I enjoyed the concert so much and can’t wait to libe that experience again

Daddy Yankee put on a show. I’ve been a fan for almost half my life and every song was banger after banger. His concert was like being at a big party and everyone was dancing and singing along. The dancers were good and he had nice visual displays for his song! This was the best concert of my life because I had so much fun singing and dancing along :)
Performance was amazing!!! We danced and screamed all through the show. Hands down to the legend DADDY YANKEE!
Getting in was smooth. the show was fantastic, sorry to see him retire.
I did NOT get an email regarding the policy of the bag size. I took my book bag/purse and I was told I had to pay for a locker. On top of that, I want meeting a friend at the concert to give her her Christmas gift and they made to put that in a locker too…. That made my experience not so good. Also, the seat assignment not good. There was a girl seating in the staircase blocking the view. So every time I tried to film something, she was on the way. The view would have been better if she wasn’t standing all the time in the stair case.
