New Orleans rapper Curren$y is one of the hardest-working men in the business, with seven albums, half a dozen EPs, and 18 mixtapes all released within the last six years. His fifth album "The Stone Immaculate" debuted in 2012 as No. 2 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop and Rap charts. Working alongside some of the top talent in the rap world, he spits intricate rhymes full of clever wordplay, all with the kind of relaxed attitude that tells you he could keep going all day long and then he lays a killer jazz-funk beat over the top. On stage, Curren$y has an easy, down-to-earth charisma. He even brings the crowd in on it, with lots of audience participation and free swag given out. It makes the whole thing feel like you just bought a ticket for a party at Curren$y’s house. It's the same on Curren$y's albums, where he invites some of rap's heaviest hitters to the party, including Wiz Khalifa for their joint 2013 EP, "Live In Concert," and Lil Wayne and Birman, who show up on Curren$y’s latest single "442." He often tours with Smoke DZA, Fiend, Street Wiz, and the other members of his Jet Life rap collective.
Curren$y first came into the limelight in 2001, when signed to his friend C-Murder’s Tru Records. As part of the 504 Collective, he was featured on the song “Get Back.” Then, he joined Lil Wayne for “Grown Man,” on Wayne's best-selling album, "Tha Carter II." Curren$y's first solo single was 2006's “Where da Cash At,” and since then it's been a steady stream of albums and EPs, as well as a ton of unofficial mixtapes released for free. With concerts lined up in December 2013, Curren$y is looking to end the year with a bang

Not my first curren$y concert. Although this tour was a bit different, I still liked it, and curren$y put on a show like always. My only issue is, I paid additional for a poster and priority line, and there was neither.
Loved the vibe, atmosphere and music. The live band was for sure a plus
Curren$y is hands down the GOAT!! His performance was spectacular from start to finish. After his performance he came down in the crowd and took pics and videos with us. Im so happy I got tge chance to catch him this time and it was well worth it. Definitely worth thw money and wait.
The show was one of the best concerts I’ve ever attended. He actually came out in the crowd to inactive with the fans. This was definitely a true life experience.
Excellent show. Wish he would’ve came out a little earlier. The opening acts weren’t that strong aside from Fendi P. All love though cause he did the raps true fans like myself appreciate.
Wish Spitta’s set was a bit longer given he was the headliner but other than that, it was a good show
Only If I could go back in time… that’s all I’m going to say. A dope performance, I just wish his set was longer. It seemed short compared to the others, but a great performance no doubt! He also signed my jacket, which was also the highlight of my night. #Jetlife#winnersnevalose
Everything about the show was spectacular, from the seating to the performances. Usually Artist rap along while their music is playing but Spitta brought out a live band. Concerts with live bands are always the best because you get to truly appreciate the rappers lyricism and breathe control. 10/10
He did a hell of a show I can’t lie but I wish fendi P would’ve came out . So we waited for 30 min with no artist on stage. Spitta came out and rocked the stage but what would’ve been wrong performing in that time slot . Either way I’ll be going to another show . But me being a huge fan I want to get every minute of the show .
Excellent venue everything was 👍🏾 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
A great experience no long lines quick entry and incredibly awesome performances
Curren$y doing a show is probably the best experience ive ever witnessed besides watching the New Orleans Saints!...
Mane the opening acts was great I personally know trip and that was my first time seeing Lito one love to jet life LLPIFF LLMEALTICKET
I never been to the MingleWood Hall before. It was something new to me. I enjoyed the crowd and the food. I just can’t do the standing for a long period of time.
Had a great time I most definitely book a other show through ticketmaster.
As expected, Curren$y was great! The DJ was lit too, she too receives the 5-star too. Glad I saw him for the second time. He himself gets a 5-star but his opening acts were super boring, excluding the dude right before Curren$y, I was not impressed by everyone else. It would've been cool if they all had live music but I get that can get expensive. I should've come in by like 930 and not 8 pm, bad decision on my part. Looking forward to seeing Curren$y for the 3rd time!!
Ok for starters I didn’t know there were vip sections available. I also was upset the meet and greet wasn’t available when I bought my ticket but I probably waited too long. I didn’t know that we could order food or drinks till the show was almost over. But other than that it was a good show, maybe get some better opening acts and it’ll be a great show. The opening DJ was fire tho, she was keeping the room lit.
The man was wicked late and we listened to the DJ play songs we already knew for 2 hours.
Great vibes, great music, great people. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves!
