Cuco on Tour
Every Cuco concert is about representation and inclusion. An all-ages crowd is the norm at a Cuco show, and you'll see his youthful contemporaries singing along to his cheekily romantic bedroom pop. Cuco's Omar Banos is a Mexican American from the Los Angeles area, and his music has become a calling card for diverse fans of all ethnic backgrounds. Coming out of the DIY house show scene in L.A., there weren't a ton of Chicano kids emerging to play sold-out shows at midsize venues all over the country, with songs regularly clocking 10 million listens on Spotify. But Cuco's earnest songwriting speaks to a new generation at an important time. On stage, he's unassuming, wearing baggy pants and hoodies, singing in front of woozy keys, wobbling synths, rhythmic drums and hazy guitar and bass. But that's the charm of Cuco — he's never tried to be anything besides his authentic self. And now with his debut LP, Para Mí, in tow, the intimacy of those early house shows in LA is still very much in the air wherever he's gracing a stage.
Cuco in Concert
Omar Banos grew up in the largely Hispanic southwest Los Angeles city of Hawthorne. His parents were working-class Mexican immigrants, and Omar, a first-generation only child, played the trumpet in high school before grabbing a guitar and then learning how to use Ableton production software at age 16. Less than a year later, he dropped Wannabewithu, his 2016 debut mixtape as Cuco, and promptly went viral. The follow-up, Songs4u, is a reflection of the musical cultures that surrounded Cuco and inspired him growing up. Meanwhile, he's dropped a slew of one-off singles, including "Lo Que Siento," his biggest hit to date with over 50 million Spotify spins.
Amazing show, Bro can do everything, n great fan interaction
Cuco put on an amazing performance!!!! 1000/10 would go see him again!! Can't wait for Cuco to come back to Houston for another amazing show!!
Experience was Quite Lovely and the energy of the performance was fabulous but….$5 Liquid Death cans? That was a turn off.
I liked the setting it was really chill. There was enough space for everyone, I feel like they could’ve used to vendors for the merch though but overall loved the event
I was the chaperone for my nieces and their friends. Well definitely take them there again!
It was so amazing and fun and captivating!!! 10/10!!!
Super quick to get through the line and security as soon as I walked into 713 man beautiful venue definitely pushed up to one of my top favorite venues will be back again and any other chance I get!
This concert was the 1st time since forever. I am so glad I went, I almost didnt. So.. Thank you!
everything went pretty smoothly and the show was amazing!! 2nd time seeing cuco and this concert was better than the first. i did experience 2 people passing out but they were taken to make sure theyre ok and hopefully they had a good time. overall a wonderful experience and so glad i got to see him so close in person!
First time seeing cuco on concert after being fans for a long time and he definitely delivered!! Had an awesome time his music is amazing!!
The concert was amazing. Entry was easy, a few difficulties with the signal around the area. Walking through the rows of chairs to get our spots were a bit crowded. But everything else was great. I love how it started and everyone was being hyped up the whole time. It was amazing that Cuco performed most of the fans favorite songs. My friends and I enjoyed it so much. And it was our first concert to go to.
This concert was so hype even compared to Cucos concert in 2019 at Austin. It was handled way better and Cuco gave such an amazing performance. This definitely his peak and he needs to stay like this. This concert made me rethink why I gave Fantasy Gateway a 8/10 when in reality it is a 100/10. Foolish was the best opening, and I didn’t think the song sounded as good at first when the album released, but like I said this concert was so good to hay now I’m addicted to Foolish and the rest of the album. Thank you so much Cuco, hope you come over here every year, if I was ballin I would’ve bought all your merch.
I loved everything about it, although in the very beginning there was that hiccup. It was handled very well . Everything about the set was beautiful, and the environment felt as if we were one . I love how his team kept passing out water down to everyone.
Loved the artist so mucha and being able to see him finally was amazing
He was great performing and thoughtful of everyone’s safety. Had a GREAT time.
This show was great the energy was so genuine and electric. CUCO played pretty much all of his songs. It felt like it was never going to end. Loved it! Plus my friend who doesn’t listen to him much had an amazing time. Definitely one to remember <33
