Cuco on Tour
Every Cuco concert is about representation and inclusion. An all-ages crowd is the norm at a Cuco show, and you'll see his youthful contemporaries singing along to his cheekily romantic bedroom pop. Cuco's Omar Banos is a Mexican American from the Los Angeles area, and his music has become a calling card for diverse fans of all ethnic backgrounds. Coming out of the DIY house show scene in L.A., there weren't a ton of Chicano kids emerging to play sold-out shows at midsize venues all over the country, with songs regularly clocking 10 million listens on Spotify. But Cuco's earnest songwriting speaks to a new generation at an important time. On stage, he's unassuming, wearing baggy pants and hoodies, singing in front of woozy keys, wobbling synths, rhythmic drums and hazy guitar and bass. But that's the charm of Cuco — he's never tried to be anything besides his authentic self. And now with his debut LP, Para Mí, in tow, the intimacy of those early house shows in LA is still very much in the air wherever he's gracing a stage.
Cuco in Concert
Omar Banos grew up in the largely Hispanic southwest Los Angeles city of Hawthorne. His parents were working-class Mexican immigrants, and Omar, a first-generation only child, played the trumpet in high school before grabbing a guitar and then learning how to use Ableton production software at age 16. Less than a year later, he dropped Wannabewithu, his 2016 debut mixtape as Cuco, and promptly went viral. The follow-up, Songs4u, is a reflection of the musical cultures that surrounded Cuco and inspired him growing up. Meanwhile, he's dropped a slew of one-off singles, including "Lo Que Siento," his biggest hit to date with over 50 million Spotify spins.
coco’s performance was unforgettable, he is such an amazing artist i had an amazing time <3
Honestly he is one of the best performers … I just love the energy and the way they play lights me up inside …I also love that after the concert he came out and talked to us and took pictures/gave autographs .. I had a very short but heartfelt convo with him which made my love for him and his music grow … I’m not a fan girl or anything but he was just so amazing and the concert it’s self was sooo killer I don’t know how to explain it… I would give it a try especially if you like good vibes
After going to the first concert back in 2017, it was nice seeing him again and the set list included a lot of songs that I wished he had played that first concert. It was a great experience.
Cuco was fantastic! Very interactive with the crowd, super sweet and kind, and sounded amazing. He put on a great show and I can’t wait to see him perform again!
The security check was fast and easy. The venue was very nice. The people weren't jam packed so I wasn't uncomfortable the whole time standing. Whoever was in charge of setting the volume of the speakers did an awesome job (in the past I've been to concerts that had the volume way too high for just a small crowd, smh) Overall, I'd relive that night over and over and over again!!!
super cool. super chil. cuco was awesome , only bad thing was he only played performed for an hour and 30 minutes :(( wanted to hear more of him
the change in venue location was very clearly communicated. the new venue was beautiful and clean and checkin was very easy. the concert was incredible, best show ever. the band gave out tons of autographs and pictures. will remember for life❤️
One of the best concerts I’ve been to gotta be my favorite one so far ❤️❤️ the vibes were amazing everyone singing along and dancing The band doing an awesome job as well 😎 & Cuco is so talented as well 👌
first time seeing cuco and it was great! he truly sounds amazing and interacts so much with this fans. u can tell he rlly cares for us
amazing concert, just amazing overall. i got to meet him and the band and they were all so cool and great. my middle school self was fangirling sm, definitely an experience worth reliving.
Cuco and his crew were extremely active with the crowd. Whether it be with recording videos on phones, or wearing hats, or even pausing the concert to make sure everyone was alright, hydrated and safe. Outside of that the visuals were out of this world. He played classics that brought everyone together and unreleased music to bring the crowd together! Wrapping up he takes a big photo with the crowd and it’s extremely wholesome. Loved every second of the show and the merch was great as well, I left with a vinyl and t shirt! Definitely would recommend him to everyone I know.
This was the 2nd time seeing Cuco live, and I can't wait for the third! Highly recommend he's an amazing performer and the music is so good live! He played some new music as well which was a nice touch <3
IT WAS GOOD A BLAST INLOVED IT DEFINITELY RECOMMEND
Cuco was amazing. He made the concert feel really personable. He shared how he had been sober for a year and how amazing it felt being back in DC since the audience always gives him a warm welcome. He played 3 unreleased songs and even took a photo with the crowd. Overall, there were really special moments. His band’s outfits were janitor uniforms, probably to to honor how Latinos typically have working class jobs. I’ve never seen a crowd full of young Latinos that look like me, celebrating music in both English and Spanish. His concert was lovely to attend and felt special to be apart of ❤️
Just a great artist to see live. The energy of the fans is so unmatched, where you feel all of you connected. The live performance with his trumpet along with his band is absolutely amazing and leaves you breathless
The concert was amazing! Cuco is already great but as a live performer, he’s even better! I would’ve love to go to another concert of his if possible.
He really showed how music can bring people together, he was amazing

It was worth the waiting in line for. CUCO’s performances always gives out nothing but positive energy. From my first concert at the U-music hall to the previous 2 concerts at the 9:30 club, it’s been the best time of my life. They are the best in my eyes and I’m proud to be a fan of Omar and his band.
