Crowded House on Tour

Crowded House are a multi-platinum-selling Australian rock band who gained fame following their 1986 smash hit "Don't Dream It's Over," which has become one of the most covered songs of the last 20 years. Artists who have covered the song include Paul Young, Sixpence None the Richer, Stan Walker, and The Head and the Heart. These songs and the many that came after continue to resonate with audiences around the world decades later. After releasing their seventh studio album, 2021's Dreamers Are Waiting, Crowded House headed out on a North American tour, with international dates planned as well. The band's new album -- their first since 2011 -- and tour features founding members Neil Finn and Nick Seymour along with producer/keyboardist Mitchell Froom, guitarist and singer Liam Finn, and drummer Elroy Finn. Don't miss your chance to hear these classic songs, and new material, live. Get tickets to see Crowded House when they come to a city near you.

Crowded House Live in Concert

Formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 1985 from the ashes of New Zealand's Split Enz by Neil Finn, Paul Hester and Nick Seymour, Crowded House released their self-titled debut album in 1986 on Capitol Records and went on to international success with hits "Don't Dream It's Over" and "Something So Strong." The first iteration of Crowded House was active from 1985 until 1996 and released four studio albums to much success worldwide. Audiences around the world were coming out in droves to see the band for their freewheeling and interactive live shows. The original lineup performed their legendary Farewell to the World concert in 1996 at the Sydney Opera House before 150,000 fans. In 2007, following the passing of original member Paul Hester, Finn and Seymour got Crowded House back together again with longtime touring member Mark Hart and new drummer Matt Sherrod. Their new album, Intriguer, was released in 2010, their last album before 2021's Dreamers Are Waiting. In 2016, Crowded House was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame and during that same time brought back their Farewell shows for four nights of live performances at the Sydney Opera House.

    Always a favorite

Only issue was with the venue. CH would have played longer but had to cut it short due to the House of Blues disco or whatever on Saturday nights. Kind of a drag, but the band is fabulous!

Great show! Lawrence of Arabia was a fine opening act, and Crowdwd house had us all singing. Neil's voice is great and the band was tight!

What can be said of Neil Finn and Crowded House? Consummate performers, such quality musicians, ultimate professionals. Just wonderful. Excellent job. These are musicians you'd pay a lot more to see, because they are just so good.

Amazing show in a great venue. They played for over two hours and didn't miss a beat the entire show. A great mix of old songs and new songs off their new album.

Crowded House - Solid as Ever!

by ToxicCat on 7/17/10Erie Canal Harbor - Buffalo

I've been a fan since the 80's, I saw them back in '93 or '94 (opening for them was some unknown named Sheryl Crow), and they sound as tight and polished now, as they ever have. Neil Finn is truly one of the most underrated songwriters in music, and the band is still one of the best out there. The only downside, in my opinion, was there was slightly too much "jamming" going on in a few tunes. Aside from that, they were amazing. Neil was very personable with the crowd, with the ever-present dry, New Zealand humor.

    They are amazing!

Crowded House is still one of the best shows I have ever seen. It's still one of the few shows today where you will find the entire audience singing each and every song. I especially enjoyed the fact that they threw in some Split Enz as well.

This was my first time seeing Crowded House in concert, and it won't be my last. The venue was beautiful, and the band was worth the wait.

Crowded House- Not to be missed!

by LotusLady on 7/15/10massey hall - toronto

In its second incarnation, Crowded House continues to create poignant, melodic, lump-in-your-throat material- and they can still ROCK! The clever rapport with, and appreciation of, their audience is something to behold. Their musicianship is outstanding, and this performance will stay with you for a long time.

Crowded House are simply amazing with their well crafted songs with great melodies and driving rhythms. They interact with the crowd and are pleased to be playing for you. Neil Finn is simply a master songwriter.
