Even though this was their last show of a grueling tour the energy between the three of them was just as powerful as it was 30 years ago. Three days later and I am still floating. Thanks to all three for giving me hope in these dark times.
I will remember this for a long time. They were amazing.
Cris Williamson, Barbara Higbie, and Teresa Trull together in concert--what could be more perfect? Pop, rock, folk, bluegrass, country--there was a bit of something for everyone. These legendary lesbian icons were warm, funny and personable, and they gave us a concert to remember. I hope everyone is able to enjoy seeing them perform in the future.
I have known these performers and listened to them live for over 35 years. Really! They are incredible individually and together breathtaking. Barbara Higbie is expert with any instrument put in front of her. She composes beautifully. Teresa Trull adds the deep soulful lyrics that go to your heart. Cris Williamson is THE original with her smooth vocals and emotional lyrics are iconic.
The reunion tour of Cris Willamson, Barbara Higbie and Theresa Trull was outstanding and exceeded my expectations. I wish that they could've performed all night. I was aware that I was in the presence of three women's music giants/icons and that I may not get a chance to see them all perform together again so I soaked it all in. My only complaint was that they played for an hour and then Cris took a break for about 20-25 minutes to sign CDs and then the concert continued. I found this disruptive to the flow of the concert and I have never, ever experienced this at a concert before. Usually they wait to sign CDs at the end.
